Important, but unrelated to SW

This has been pissing me off for an eternity and a half now. I had flash, nice and fine and dandy, and then...I went to download Flash 7. It all went wrong.

 

After that, anything flash related now has broken images. When i go to reinstall it, the d/l movie is also a broken image and its not installed. Been about 4 months now, and I've gone through all my hidden files with very few signs of flash; even if i deleted and retryed nothing worked. Just wondering if anyone knows how to fix this. Thanks
