jadewolfie
Hi, this has probably been asked before im not sure... I dont really understand how the scoring system works, i have figured out when you make a kill a point is deducted but if thats the case then what is the purpose of the capture points? Do they help your overall points? can someone please explain how the scores works... thanks
RDX1
Just a way to keep track of what you have done over the period of the game You kill someone, you get a point. You kill an allie, you get deducted a point. You capture a command center, you get a CP point. Just a way to keep score, like most games.
jadewolfie
you missunderstand me, i am talking about how each team begins with 200 points and they gradually reduce and when they get to 0 you lose... Im sorry if you thought i meant the win/loss record but i have played many FPS games and im quite aware of how that works... but i cannot seem to gather the "points" in relation to how you win or lose a battle. I should have been more clear
Jan Gaarni
I'm not sure how the capture points work exactly, but I do know, if you capture enough CP's, the opposing team will start losing points on a regular basis, atleast I've noticed this sometimes. Also, your team does not lose points if someone dies. It will lose points when people spawn. This is very important to keep in mind. Especially if the score is 1 to your team, and 2-3 on the opposing team, but enough guys on the battlefield to be able to make the difference. If this is the situation, I would advise you not to spawn as you will be the one who made the team lose. If the score difference is huge though, go ahead and spawn and put your team out of its missery.
RDX1
That is how many reinforcements are allowed. Either when all the CP are captured by one team and/or all your/their reinforcements run out the team with the most wins.
Kiffalot
Is it possible to increase the number of cp's, since most games are quite short at least in contrast to bf42 or bfv??
JawaJoey
You mean reinforcements, but no. They really need to add that feature. Make it so that the games are longer, and capturing all the command points is actually a worthy, possible objective. You start with X many reinforcement points. This varies from map to map I think, and there are certain situations where one teams starts with more. For example, on Kamino the clones start with 20 mroe reinforcements. If you have less than half the command points on the map (or something like that), you start losing points, and will keep losing points until you get half of the CPs. Every time someone spawns, that teams loses a point.
Iceman_IX
Some maps start you with 250 RI I think. But it's been explained quite well above.
