[CI]Levi Posted October 8, 2004 Share Posted October 8, 2004 The one big thing I can count on when I am playing any game is whiners. My clanmate, Trump has created a whine list. If you are tired of killing someone and having them say things like" Why do you always shoot me in the back?!?!?" or "Thats BS, I shot you, Haxor!" Then just go to our site, and post a screenshot of them for everyone to see, in their moment of glory. We are trying to see wich clans have the most, or the biggest whiners. Check and see if you have any whiners in your clan. When you post it would be good to have a screenshot, but if you dont you can just type in what they said. We need more whiners posted, so please stop by and post a whiner. For the whine list go to this url http://www.clanci.com/ Then just click on the "whine list" For the most part the SWB community rocks and I havn't had many whiners, but if you see any you can post em here. Stingray Posted October 8, 2004 Share Posted October 8, 2004 the idea is good, but aren't there a few problems? first off, I don't think ppl will report whiners in their own clan, as you suggested, but ok: ppl can report whiners from other clans. however, you say that if you don't have a screenshot, you can just type whatever they said. Now what if i would be a person that hates a particular clan. Can't I just go to your website I make up something and tell this and that person said it? well, why don't I give you a screenshot of some1 whining. problem is, also screenshots can be edited. in fact, it's not so hard to even with MSpaint to edit a screenshot so that you can have every1 say the most stupid things. You can just copy past with the font used by SW:BF. now, it's not that I think you should drop your idea. i would just like to point out these things for you to make your system waterproof if it's possible. We will use our best judgement about any false accusations. I can delete any post, And I swear not to delete any posts of any of my own clan whining, who have actually been whining. When I said "Check and see if you have any whiners in your clan" I was not telling anyone to rat out their clan. I was letting people know they can check and see if their clan has already had whiners posted. I'm not good with words It's really just there for people to have fun with. I think (hope) that's just standard sore-loseritis striking this game as it does all online games ever released... People need to think and give people the benefit of the doubt, and use common sense. I don't really see how this idea would critize teh game itself. I'ts merely the players that get what they deserve. Levi just the citation of "Thats BS, I shot you, Haxor!" as a pure example of whiners, not so much about using hacks as such. Could be I completely misunderstood you. Please elaborate. Just the chat messages would have done it... Problem #3: Er, background for the "whining"? It's just "he said this, he said that". Other than that it's OK. Nice concept. After all, we barely can extract textures from the game, and we dont even know where much of the data for the game is. I just hope that it aren't the clanmembers who are whining. If so, I think clans would rather know who is whinig instead of posting it on some site, that way they can talk to the member. That's about the worst. I don't think anyone is cheating yet. Aimbots are hard to implement. They "help" but they don't do the job for you. An aimbot can't calculate the lag. It would be more like an auto-aim. The thing we might see is a mini-map hack that allows you to see enemies wherever they are and a health and ammo hack. That and they need to turn everything down as much as they can on gfx so they get great fps. thats what i do and i get told your cheatting. When i say i cant on this game becuase of punkbuster they seem to get real pissy still. Why not just amit that someone els could be just way better at the game then you.
