ET Warrior
He certainly used to be really bad about that, but he's starting to mature as a Quarterback, and he's learning how to do it. I think he had like, 200 yards in the air against the broncos yesterday.
ckcsaber
That was his first good passing game he's had this season. Hopefully he will start to use his offense more. I mean, he's got a good team around him.
ET Warrior
I'd say he has a decent team around him. I think if you took Mike Vick out the Falcons would crumble. Their offesnive line is a joke, their running game only exists because Micheal Vick does the running. Their defense was ranked pretty highly but these last two weeks they've been getting hammered. First the chiefs and their 8 running touchdown game, and then the Broncos (who looked terrible) still got over 300 yards through the air against them, and the only reason they had less than 100 rushing yards is because Shanahan never used Droughns. The Falcons are not a BAD team, but they really aren't a GOOD team. They just have an exceptional quarterback.
ckcsaber
Meh, they can't rely on Vick scrambling them down the field every game. They won last night because he made some fantastic passes. He needs to air out the ball more and get their opponents secondary looking for the pass more often. That will open up a LOT more options for their RB and Vick. ET Warrior
I deffinately agree with you there. As soon as Michael Vick establishes that he's a big threat to throw the ball he becomes infinitely more dangerous. Not only will teams have to respect the pass opening the running lanes, but when Vick DOES roll out they have to decide to chase or remain in coverage, if they remain in coverage he runs for 20 yards on them, if they chase he can throw it for 30. He's the most feared player in the NFL at the moment, and will be for a long time.

He's already been force fed the West Coast offence by Mora and has had terrible results. Simple fact is, let Vick do whatever he wants and the team wins. Simple. And it's not about the FANS respecting him. You're talking about a different type of respect. PLAYER respect is a lot more important, and Vick leads the NFL in that invisible department.
