Senator Smorl
Hi, I usually play Battlegrounds with my friend online. I use the Rebel Alliance and he uses the Empire. At Tech Level four with all things at the Jedi Academy researched, my Jedi Masters can't convert the Sith from the Empire. Everytime I try I get a message saying "You must research Force Influence before you can turn (whatever I'm trying to turn)." But he can turn my Jedi Masters no problem. So where do I have to go to research Influence b/c it's not at the Jedi Academy.
lukeiamyourdad
The Rebel Alliance doesn't get to research Force Influence.
Admiral Vostok
Which is odd considering the Rebel Jedi (Luke Skywalker) is the only one to have ever turned a Sith Lord back to the light side... ah well.
DK_Viceroy
Who ever said this game followed the Star wars universe to the letter? Â Before SWGB I'd never heard of a Trade Guild starship that looked like one of Queen Amidalas hair ornaments.
lukeiamyourdad
See, you can use sarcasm without offending people
DK_Viceroy
Though that Trade Guild transport does look kinda like one of Amidalas head pieces.

Admiral Vostok
Originally posted by Kryllith Yeah, but I imagine that their blood relationship that change Vader's mind, not Luke's ability with the force... Quite possibly. Â Though Force Influence would still be good for the Rebels considering they would try and get people to defect and join their cause. Still as Viceroy said it doesn't follow Star Wars reality to the letter, and there is probably a gameplay/balance reason for it anyway.
Sithmaster_821
Rebels dont need force influence, and if they had it, they'd be too powerful. Its called gameplay>realism
Admiral Vostok
Ah, thank the Force Sithmaster is back to remind us that Gameplay>Realism in every second post
Senator Smorl
Ok, thanks for letting me know. By the way, that guy in Admiral Vostok, who is that? I've seen that guy in the trailer and I'm having an argument with my coworker over who that is. I thought it was Anakin.
DK_Viceroy
Now Vostok some people could take that as an insult. Â Sithmaster your sig wasn't long at all.
Admiral Vostok
Viceroy, the difference between my non-offensive sarcasm and your offensive scarcasm is this smiley -> It indicates I'm only kidding. I suggest you consider using it a bit more often so people don't take as much offense to your posting. Alternatively you could also use this smiley -> but it carries with it a bit more of a derrogatory nature than the winking one. Â Smorl, indeed it is Anakin. You can clearly see it is Hayden Christensen, at least in the teaser resolution I downloaded. Who does your co-worker believe it is?
DK_Viceroy
In a certain way someone could have mistaken him for Sidious. Â By that I mean your avatar. Â I like this one better for obvious reasons:bdroid2:
Majin Boba Fett
You mean your power ranger avatar?
Senator Smorl
Right!? Of course it's Anakin, but as my coworker is the only other English speaking person I see everyday I needed some validation. Sadly he seems to think it's a new woman character b/c he swears the person is wearing lipstick. I think he just had too much crack for breakfast that day. Now would someone like to tell me why it says Bantha Fodder under my name?
FroZticles
Cause your new and only have 5 posts. Unlike Viceroy who is being a post whore and is here with 3 posts everytime I log on
DK_Viceroy
Well better a Post whore then being inactive or spamming. Majin Boba Fett
Yet, I'm not the one with his avatar. Saying you picked him at random is kinda sketchy eh? Did you go trick-or-treating as him too?
DK_Viceroy
No I actually Read a novel about an Empire of Dinosaurs turned evil by some weird Radiation so i typed in Evil Dinosaurs into a google searh and that guy turned up.
