3 years ago i wrastled... not greco roman but in a ring doing back bumps...I watched a few tapes of some local stuff going on and being a wwf fan since i was a kid i lol'd them all saying i could do that and better than they could... well just so happen the guys that had the tape ran the shows so they asked me to put my money where my mouth was. so they granted me an audition.

I was a High Diver and a 17 year veteran at sakteboarding so i went out there showed some stuff.... they put me on the show the next night as the Commisioner of their league. As a Heel... I finally got to do what I always wanted to do- be an ******* on teh mic and piss rednecks off without the fear of getting stomped on since i had the whole Circuit behind my back...

While i was teh Commish I went through my formal training in ring for free.... as a fee I had to set up the rings and take them down after the shows... which that itself is a very tedious process.. I was trained by Gary Nations.. the man some of you older folks know through memphis Wrestling as LORD HUMONGOUS( the 7 foot dood that wore the hockey mask...)

My training was always on going... learning how to take moves and recieve them... that is what ppl dont understand about this sport... it is NOT fake... it hurts... especially went you flop a move.. try jumping up 4 feet in the air and landing on some plywood covered with carpet and a mat... that is all a ring is... with iron frames criss-crossing... believe me- there is not much give in the center of that ring at all.

Anyway i already knew 75% of the moves it was a matter of getting them in sync with the others... because everyone is different- they way they take, give, and the power they do them with. my gimmick had to be that of taking the bump because i am small - only 5'10". so i had to be acrobatic and have a high endurance.

by the end of a three month period i could walk the ropes like taker and hurricanrana ppl out of it.. i had made up several moves noone hasd ever seen before... it was a matter of time before i got my first match- which i wore a mask out. as Vertigo.

or Commisioner Shawn Williams

After getting my teeth kicked in literally( didnt lose any he just went a little too far) and rolling with my opponent for loike 7 minutes ( which feels like an hour when you have tons of ppl watching ya) I can say it was definitely an experience i am glad i got out of life. I enjoyed being the commish even better, because once you get on that mic and put on the role of the bad guy... you can do anything you want to make ppl hate you- then at the end those same ppl come up to you for autographs.

my gimmick as the Commish was that i had to bring out a different chick with me each show... great for picking up girls... " hey you wanna be my ho for a night?" LOL got laid like 5 times with that stuff :p

needless to say i dont do this anymore.. I dislocated both shoulders and hyper-extended my right knee through a combination of wrastlin and skateboarding.. so now I just work sit around drinking beer and sabering nOObs... oh i wish i could turn back teh clock and started that at a younger age, i might have actually had the chance to do something with it.

some of the moves i invented are:

The ShawnShank Redemption (^^) : half suplex to 180 reverse bulldog ( or the Shank for short...)

Life Wrench: leg scissors around the head with a figure four armlock... ppl will tap on this in real life- makes everyone cry if done for real no matter what size they are. :p

Mind Scape: opponent bent over flip to roll over their back to DDT

no name move.... last move i learned was a reverse suplex to stone cold stunner.... i never went further than testing it because i hurt some bad bringin them down in a neckbreaker after the suplex.

I could also drop kick someone chest high and spin 180 to land back on my feet.... O-o

sorry it was so long just though i would share the exp with all you since this is a wrestling thread... even not greco roman... this sport still takes tons of skill to not hurt someone... only the storylines are fake...

oh yeah SPOILER about wrestling:

There is nothing planned out in a match except the beginning segment and the ending... it is up to the 2 in the ring to give the ppl the show they want through communication constantly while in the ring... next time you watch wrestling watch them closely when they are on the ground head to head or in the corners or about to whip someone into the ropes... they are talking to each other to where you cannot see it. Unless you know what to look for even the ppl at ringside cannot tell they are talking becuase it is done so fast ie keywords etc. everyone is trained knowing different spots and their keywords... dont believe me... pay close attention next time to smackdown and dont ever say im lying about this... tis teh trOOf!!!
