starmark2k
I was thinking when i was playing pazzack on the original KOTOR. that i would proberly prefer to play the game of sabbacc that was mentioned in several expanded univerce novels. the rules are in the han solo trilogy books and it seems a much more interesting and better game than pazzack. so do u think they have put this in the sith lords and if not why not it seems more exciting than pazzack which is boring after the first couple of plays. stingerhs
very true, and i'm sure it would appeal to the older crowds. however, you have to consider that tsl is marketed at more than the hardcore gamers that wouldn't mind a fairly complicated mini-game. however, not everyone is interested in learning all the ins and outs of a complicated card game, so, unfortuately, you have to introduce a pretty simple game in order to keep everyone happy. Tdcquicksilver5
Do you think that maybe pazzack somehow evolved into sabback. Four thousand years is a long time for the evoulution of a cardgame. however, you have to consider that tsl is marketed at more than the hardcore gamers that wouldn't mind a fairly complicated mini-game. however, not everyone is interested in learning all the ins and outs of a complicated card game, so, unfortuately, you have to introduce a pretty simple game in order to keep everyone happy. I am probably one of the people who wants a simple minigame.Maybe im crazy but i was much to worried about stats and storylines to learn and play a cardgame.I didn't touch a pazzack deck until i had beaten the game 3-4 times to make sure I had done all that was available to me. Thats kinda the point pazzack is boring you would want to play a minigame more if it was more exciting.
Tdcquicksilver5
If I took the time to learn a more fun mini game i might like it more, but that just wont happen until I have said every possible bit of dialog available to me in the main story. Says you. I enjoy playing pazzack. I make it a point to play everyone until they won't play me for credits anymore, or until I'm loaded with enough credits to buy myself the extra special items. & often times, I'll use it to guage my success at the casino before I leave...& it's usually right on. Grishnakh
It's called pazaak, not pazzack If just one person spelled it wrong I wouldn't care but when everyone does it...

Shok_Tinoktin
Maybe sabacc did not exist yet back then.
Grishnakh
I love playing Pazaak in Knights btw, I often earn about 5000 credits total through the game just from playing. Of course, it's much about luck but you can get a long way by having the best side deck possible, hold on to your cards to you really need them and make smart decisions.
