Thrik
For screenshots, pressing the print screen key on your keyboard should work just fine. Once you've done that, open an image editing program (Microsoft Paint will be sufficient) and go to Edit > Paste. I can't think of any obvious reason as to why the demo trailer wouldn't be working properly for you. Benny did create a special AVI version which should work though. Benny will also have to answer any questions on the launcher, since it's his child. I'll point him towards this thread when I next see him. VampireNaomi
This might be a little OT, but I have a question about the print screen button. It works perfectly for all LucasArts games I have, but if I try to take a picture of any Broken Sword or Gabriel Knight games it doesn't work at all. Either I get some weird coloured mess, a blank black screen or nothing at all. Is there anything I can do about this?
Thrik
It's probably something to do with how the game deals with the graphics. Quite a lot of older 2D games suffer from that problem, including the Curse of Monkey Island if I recall correctly. The only real workaround is to download a third-party screen capturing utility, such as HyperCam (not that I've tested it in these games). These programs capture the image in a different way to how the print screen function does.
VampireNaomi
Thanks, I think I'll try something like that. Once I actually need a screen capture of any of those games, that is.
Metallus
As I recall, printscreening doesn't work on cutscenes; you end up taking a picture of the menu screen, or a black screen, or something other than the cutscene, I think. You need to find a third-party program that lets you take screen captures, but I really don't have anything to recommend in that department, as most of them insert the program's logo automatically on the screenshot, or do something else equally evil. Download.com could be searched for such a program.
VampireNaomi
Really? Then how on Earth was I able to use the print screen button and take a shot of Nick sitting in the train and Olivia driving the car? Those are cutscenes, right?
