Vikinor
Yes. What did the Sentinels do?
Darth Smaug
Oh yes i had to explain this earlier...Jedi Consulars seek always a peacefull solution to bring the force into balance, they don't like fighting..Jedi guardians seek cases out to the point with battles if it is needed..They like to fight Dark Jedi and don't want to turn them back to the Light and like to fight them more but find peace in the force..Jedi Sentinels fight if needed and search for a solution in the advantage of the galaxy to bring peace back but they don't seek for peace and balance like the consulars and don't seek for battle like the guardians... Hope i answered all of your questions...Or do you seek more information???
Vikinor
Where do the Padawans and Jedi Knights or masters come into all those classes?

El Sitherino
Originally posted by VikingLarz Yes I know that too. And about the topic. Plo Koon had a yellow saber but that doesn't make him a sentinel. And what is a Jedi Sentinel? No, in the movies he had a blue saber. And Padme = Amidala. Her official name when she became queen was (queen) Padme Amidala. And when they say jedi knights they didn't exactly mean in the ranking system, they meant as in the traditional sense, Knights being men(/women) serving to keep order. A padawan in a beginner, someone learning the ways of the force at it's most basic steps. A jedi knight is someone that has learned the basics of the force, and lightsaber technique and is capable of taking on a padawan. A jedi master is one that has mastered their control over the force and is extremely skilled in lightsaber technique. All that sentinel guardian stuff is bollocks. It was created only to add element to a game.
ZBomber
Plo Koon had a yellow saber in Episode I, but we never got to see it. I even read a reason somewhere for why he didn't have it in Ep. II, but I forgot.

Vikinor
I am just making sure. GOSH! It got a little confusing with the Jedi Knights in the movies and in the game.
Darth Smaug
Because that was 4000 years before the movies...When the movies came there where no ranks as sentinel and consular anymore and the jedi can choose his color of his saber
El Sitherino
And because it was all made up for the game. None of it holds in a real talk about Star Wars.
Darth Smaug
Maybe it COULD be true...you never know? i mean you didn't know what was before the movies...
Vikinor
Yea he's right BEFORE the movies. We have only ben educated by the game from that point in time.
El Sitherino
Originally posted by Darth Smaug Maybe it COULD be true...you never know? i mean you didn't know what was before the movies... Untill it's supported by more than just 2 games. It holds no water.
Vikinor
So if there are 3 games then it will hold water because there was originally only 3 movies?
TK-8252
Originally posted by VikingLarz So if there are 3 games then it will hold water because there was originally only 3 movies? No. Until it is supported in games other than KOTOR it holds no water.
El Sitherino
Not to mention there are many stories in other books that tell nothing of these classes. Many set in the same time frame as KOTOR.
Vikinor
Oh. So a game like uh soe other game would have to support it then it would be a sort of fact correct?
Darth Smaug
They invented it to make it fit in the game and fit in the movies ...We know what was happening before the movies...

Vikinor
OK. But doesn't the EU have to make sense with everything else like with the games too?
