Is it really a patch? It seems quite shady and weird even though it is on the official site.
Warmaker
I wish there was a Readme.txt for this. If you have a problem with trusting it, if all else fails the game's updater will sort it for you. Just remember that it isn't for the US release, if that's what our neighbors in Canada get. Leviathan
What's this patch's size ?
Boba Rhett
Start downloading it and look. This is for non-u.s. players so do you even need it?
ChAiNz.2da
From what I've read, it's mainly just dialogue corrections (mis-spellings, etc.) and such. Nothing that really needs to be addressed is actually done with this release.. *sigh* Below is a quote for the German Version, but I'm assuming it's the same for all. Posted on Monday, February 14 @ 16:32:37 PST Set in the unique timeframe of the Old Republic, 4,000 years before Star Wars Episode I, The Sith Lords features an all-new more perilous storyline, new characters, classes, locations and force powers. LucasArts has released the first patch for KOTOR2 bringing your UK/German retail game to v1.0a, and address some ingame text issues, as well as update the game documentation. North American patch is due to be released soon according to the community manager. SOURCE
CTOAN
Hmmm.... It's not available through the US website; I don't know how you found it, but I can't bring it up at all. The link you sent me works fine, though. It's definetly an international patch. There are 5 versions - UK, Spain, Germany, France, and Italy. Total size is 1.93 MB. My *guess* is that it's probably a semi-serious international-only problem that's flooding LA with support calls and was a easy bugfix. We'll probably see a US patch soon if it's a universal glitch. I may try to do the UK patch later and see if it works on my US version.

This SW : KotOR II's patch seems to be a bit small, no ?...
CTOAN
Yeah, I thought 1.93 MB was pretty small myself. That's why I'm thinking it's an international only and that it's a stupid thing they should have gotten before TSL shipped.
Boba Rhett
It's merely a dialogue patch for international versions.

RipperKB
The patch is small because it just fixes spelling mistakes in text.
Leviathan
Obsidian should solve all important glitches and not only spelling mistakes !...

Rat Boy
They should also work on finishing the ending to the game.
