TSL - Adding Force Powers to the game

I have not seen this posted yet, so forgive me if everybody knows about it.

 

Obsidian has added a number of new script functions, but one really stands out - GrantSpell.

 

With this function you can now give powers to the PC by scripting. So, instead of just allowing the PC to select your new power at level up, you can make it so the only way to get the new power power is by completing your quest.

 

You could make some pretty cool and rewarding quests by using this. (Hint, Hint - RedHawke) So next time you create a new power, just don't give it to the PC, make them work for it!

I was wondering how they incorporated the fact that you gain 'special' force abilities depending on whom you talk to and such. I guess you answered that!

That is what I was hoping to hear

 

Going on user made quests for new equipment is fun and all, but nothing beats having your character learn new dark powers!
