lilric27 Posted March 10, 2005 Share Posted March 10, 2005 Mod Idea: Called: Play the Dark Lord but you could also change the background story for lightsiders. I already wrote about this but I want to simplify it. Basically I think you can do all the quests and keep all the planets open if you do Dantooine last and do not go into the cave and see the jedi. Meaning all planets should stay open and the game is in limbo. Here now what might be cool is: 1) spawning Mandalorians to kill on Dxun 2) spawning HK’s to kill on Telos (with perhaps dialogue for creds) 3) spawning Sith on Korriban to kill 4) spawning Bounty Hunters on Nar Shaddaa (with perhaps dialogue for creds) 5) Trigger for Sion at level 38 6) Trigger for Nihilius at level 39 7) Dialogue option for level 40 to warp to Malenchor core The idea is (and here it would be good to use a similar item like Kreias Illusion belt by Monkey Joe) perhaps to change Mandelorian into more of regular PC common character at least image wise, because your going to be attacking Mands. One could also use the Illusion belt already made to change Kreia into a more suitable character like Bastila. The spawning idea has already been done to some degree with Sith Battle Simulation by XCOM which also gives experience. The triggers to spawn Sion and Nihilius I don’t know about on another planet based on level I don’t know about. The ability to warp to a place based on dialogue I don’t know about. But I thought I would just throw the idea out there. Background story: The idea is your going to be around level 22-24 I guess and your playing Dark Side/Light and for Dxun you have already prepared a beacon to call in the remaining Mands and your going to periodically visit the planet to destroy them. On Telos HK’s have gone amuck and the TSF General gives you 20,000 credits to kill them all. Its just a device to give a little reward. Actually though you are sending them there… but only you know that. A lightsider might do it free. On Korriban for some reason a bunch of Sith keep showing up around the temple and in the major cave. Nar Shadda has many bounty hunters, too many. Perhaps the Hutt could offer some creds or not. You would revisit each planet many times, leveling up to 38 at which point Sion would be triggered to spawn in Dantooine crystle caves. At level 39 Nihilius is triggered to spawn in Korriban caves. At level 40 you get a dialogue option from Kreia which you can accept or not. The dialogue option would be something like, “I am ready to accept the throne of the Dark Lord of the Sith or destroy the last of the Sith.” You warp by yourself and surprise its Kreia, who knew! Lets end it. The dialogue option would warp you to the inner Malenchor core where Sion and Nihilius would be in holocron/ghost form just for ambiance and you would face Kreia. The end. With this basis people could make items which could be added to a high end vendor for purchase perhaps, a use for the creds. Why? I like the story. But sometimes I just want to fight. Here with the respawning you could just fight and level and you would only really miss dantooine enclave-telos-ravenger-malenchor. -------------------- Edit: Sure one could have spawning Mercs on Dantooine to fight if one does not want to fight Mandalorians. I just figure Mandalorians are cool to fight, especially if you are Dark. Plus they look cool and are probably only second to Sith I think in difficulty. Not sure. Other reasoning could be Mands are tyring to regroup, cant have them doing that when you are trying to control the Republic as dark. As light, fight mercs, then again Mands dont quit, light dont have choice either. Plus can not forget beancounters mod would greatly help in the leveling of these spawn. To keep the challenge fresh. What I would like is to get some Pure White Robes like what Artis has and I would like to swap the Handmaidens head with that of artis. Also the HandMaidens Robes dark and light with the hood up or down. If these could be done, or if you could tell me how the heck to do it, I would greatly apreciated it! P.S. On the editor, I get the error messeage "Path Cannot be null. Parameter name: path" I have .net Frameworks 1.1 and the paths listed are all correct for both games. Nope, just the color scheme... hmm... does this mean you are considering making me a skin? It's probably a gastly simple thing for some to do, but I am limited to cut and paste, hue and saturation type changes, and I can't get anything I like myself. insane_pyro28 Posted March 11, 2005 Share Posted March 11, 2005 alright I tested out the Mandalore armor mod and wrist launcher and they both work great. but hey monkey joe I have one request. could i tell you the feats I want and then you add them to the Mandalore armor? so this way once I have the Mandalore armor it will have everything included with it so thats all I'll need. i just ask for some certain feats (i'll let you know soon what feats I want) and also if you could give the armor some better stats maybe 14 defense 3 dexterity and a +6 dexterity bonus to start with would be good and also if you can make it upgradeable. I mean Master Tron, Vima Sunrider, or posibly some of the descendants from the other jedi and sith in that era? now i'm assuming when you guys mention kotor your refering to the game and not the era thats 2000-3000 years later just a factoid hehe. I think Vima atleast could be added, Master Tron may have gotten to old (I can't remember if its master Tron or Master Thon atm, i'll check later) Vima according to the expanded universe lives an unnaturally long life, and its either her or her child thats still around in the NJO era on Nar Shaddraa. so she'd still be an acceptable character, who knows we probably could put her on the Harbringer fighting a resistance against the sith or something if we wanted an actual jedi with a lightsaber early on Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

ManSpawn Posted March 13, 2005 Share Posted March 13, 2005 I have recently looked through alot of this forum, and I am quite impressed with all of your talents... so, my challenge to you all is this: can anyone make a lightsaber for kotor 2 with a hilt that looks like Mr Hanky from South Park, and a brown blade? My idea is, you hold him upside down, so that when he is "ignited," his head is the base of the hilt, and the blade extends from the bottom of him. Anyone think they can do that? let me know! Juha Avery Posted March 13, 2005 Share Posted March 13, 2005 I know the 33 unique sabers mod has dookus hilt but its just that i dont want all the sabers, just the dookus, and i have to wait for the whole set to be released even if i just want dooku's hilt. Thats so shame.. Except ofcourse if someone making that mod could send me the dooku's hilt now hehe. Anyways i would need to test it cause my computer might not even work with it cause it usually in my game turns everything into golden and shiny with black skin and that sucks BIG TIME. And if i wait for the whole 33 unique sabers and then they dont even work im going to well destroy kotor 2 this time. However, It would be more realistic if you could find an 'Jedi Battle Trainer helmet' which warps you into perhaps the dantooine enclave, and lets you fight differant opponants.
