mangaas Posted March 10, 2005 Posted March 10, 2005 It would rock if they made a monkey island movie (a good movie) So here's my dreamcast: Guybrush - Leonardo Di Caprio or Tobby Maguire Governor Marley - Kate Beckinsale Le Chuck - Geoffrey Rush Herman Toothrot - Christopher Lloyd or Jim CArrey Sword Master - Halle Barry Meathook - Will Sasso Otis - (meh..) Voodoo Lady - Queen Latifah Stan - Bruce Campbell Canibals (lemonhead and friends) - The Rock, and some other tan big guys... what's your dreamcast?
Alien426 Posted March 10, 2005 Posted March 10, 2005 Malcom In The Middle's Christopher Masterson is better suited for Guybrush. DiCaprio is too old, too bulky. Bruce Campbell as Stan is pretty much a given. Herman should be played by an old actor. Dunno who. P.S. Dreamcast is a console, it's "dream cast".
mangaas Posted March 10, 2005 Author Posted March 10, 2005 being picky about grammar on the net is like ...... being picky about grammar on the net As for Herman, I think Christpher Lloyd is pretty old, and quite capable of acting looney/quirky (Taxi, Back to the Future, Addams Family) I think he's almost perfect for the part. Christopher Masterson looks the part, but I want someone who can play Guybrush well... Masterson just seems to... crappy- actorish. maybe even Jared Leto Just picture him with longer, brown/blondish curly hair, and you got Guybrush. I seem to recall him doing some comedy/ quircky work, forget what movie though.. I still can't think of a "perfect" guybrush actor though... Jimmy Falon? Pauly Shore???

RoyTordesLegend Posted August 14, 2005 Posted August 14, 2005 apart from maybe Jim carrey as Stan. Nah, definately Bruce Campbell as Stan!!!!
Tiger22 Posted August 19, 2005 Posted August 19, 2005 What about Kip Pardue as Guybrush? I think that would work... Herman Toothrot, maybe Bill Murray?
Darth Darthy Posted August 22, 2005 Posted August 22, 2005 Haven't they already made this movie? Kiera Knightly, Geoffrey Rush... yeah.
Joshi Posted August 22, 2005 Posted August 22, 2005 I'm happy enough to stick with that, it was a damn good movie that was.
