ZBomber Posted March 18, 2005 Posted March 18, 2005 Not sure if these are any new spoilers to you guys, but I got some Episode III figures early. You can check them out at TheLastChild.Net . Enjoy Please try to keep it within Lucasforums to save my bandwidth.
eastcoast2895 Posted March 21, 2005 Posted March 21, 2005 thanks for the pics. i was wondering, for the slashing obi wan, does the slashing work by pressing the legs together and the waist twist? also if you do it by pressing the legs, how possable are the legs, can they only twist a little, not move at all, etc.? thanks again.
HertogJan Posted March 21, 2005 Posted March 21, 2005 Sorry to say but they look crappy Especially Padmé, she deserves better than that!
Hannibal Posted March 21, 2005 Posted March 21, 2005 Originally posted by HertogJan Sorry to say but they look crappy I was going to say that. But decided not to. When did they get so terrible at making action figures. They look so cheap now.
El Sitherino Posted March 21, 2005 Posted March 21, 2005 When Hasbro realized we'd still eat em up because we're filthy whores.... or atleast Zed and I are. I agree about most of them, but I still like the Vader, and grievous is awesome. But some of them are.... creepy. Tarful brings back memories of the classic figures. Crappy paint job and incredibly limited articulation.
coupes. Posted March 21, 2005 Posted March 21, 2005 http://www.thelastchild.net/starwars/rotsani3.jpg OMG It's Ozzy Osbourne !
ZBomber Posted March 21, 2005 Author Posted March 21, 2005 Yeh, some of the figures ARE pretty crappy, Padme looks like a man with those giant biceps. :| But, like Sithy said, people like us eat this crap up, sucky or not. And the Vader is THE coolest figure ever. I just hate that "chain" around his neck. And yes, when you push Obi's legs in, they make the waist move. And I can't get Obi-Wan (Kicking) and Yoda's actions to work. Hasbro sucks. Go Kenner. And yes, I was afraid by that Anakin figure. Are they telling us Anakin becomes a head-banging goth in the movies?
Andy867 Posted March 22, 2005 Posted March 22, 2005 Well, in the movies, the chain is meant to hold his cape up, and since they have Vader laying down on a flat surface the chain just kind of is there without any kind of gravitational force to make it do its job.

It's a picture Zed took of his figure. But it (the chain) pokes out quite a bit, but I don't mind that, I'll be replacing it with a mini-chain anyway, none of that clothe stuff they are using on it.
