Drazin
Well, I got the Twilek Assassin girl's body model and Head model in game. Here she is with a little recoloring to make her less Blah. My problem is that she currently overwrites the female head "pfhb01" and all the Black bodies. I know there is a way to make this new Body/Head combo a completely new item that can be chosen at creation without overwriting any others, but it is eluding me. Any help? Darkkender
You will want to change 3 2da files. Appearance.2da, heads.2da, & portraits.2da. In Appearance.2da you will want to set up 3 lines one for each body type Large, medium, & small. In Heads.2da you will set up a new head line and in portraits.2da you set up a new portrait. For a easy 1-2-3 guide example refer to nequam's new pc head mod. Use all of it's entries in these 3 2da files for a guide for your new PC. Drazin
Thanks Darkkender, Is it safe to assume what I am changing in the .2da's will be the filename of my new body and head and portrait? That will still overwrite 1 of the PC heads though right?
Darkkender
NO, you will be adding new lines to the 2da files. If you look at Nequams PC head pack mod you will see new entries at the bottom of these 2da files compared to the original 2da files. Once you do this then you will have a new selectable character without overwriting the default heads. In fact this is so easy I have been planning to convert all of the head mods out there currently to new PC heads for my own use.

Drazin
This I cannot do. I used Nequams Appearance, Heads and Portrait as my guideline, but I just cannot get it to work. The closest I have come is getting a Headless PC with the right Portrait. I have the Head, body and portrait .TGA's I have the Body Model .MDL and .MDX (Same as original) And have the Head .MDL and .MDX (Renamed as my Head.tga) I must be missing something in the Head.2da's I do not recall putting in the information to direct it to the Head MDL/MDX *Shrug* I am so sad at this type of thing. Drazin
I'm trying buddy. I'm trying. I can make it overwrite an existing head/body... but just can't seem to grasp the whole .2da editting aspect to make it a completly new, selectable head/body. LOL Ok do you have 3 entries in appearance.2da or 1. If you have one you need 3 one for each body type large, medium, & small. Then in your head column for all 3 rows they should point to your new head entry in heads.2da. Finally portraits.2da has 3 coumns appearance, appearance_l, and appearance_s. In appearance you want to put the appearance.2da line entry for your medium body type, for appearance_l you need your large and appearance_s is your small. If any one of these entries does not match properly you can be getting the problem your talking about.
