Vacation spots

well, it'll be summer before too long, and you guys know what that means....

parties at the neighborhood pool, no classes, a bunch of kids crowding the streets, nice weather, etc, etc, etc.

for all you pessimists: its also the time to get in some more hours at work.

anyways, its also the usual time for vacations. yes, vacations: the time when you get to get away from it all. no computers, no internet (well, that maybe a bit of torture for some people), no screaming kids (maybe), no deadlines to meet at work, etc, etc, etc. lets say you just won an all expenses paid vacation this summer, and you could take a couple of friends with you. where would ya go and why would ya go??? would ya bring your family, or would you just bring some friends???

i'll get things started by naming mine: Cedar Point, Ohio. the town isn't of any importance. instead, i'm referring to the Cedar Point amusement park with over 10 roller coasters to help you 'relax'. i'd probably bring along my girlfriend, my two best friends, and maybe my younger sister. i'd like to spend at least 3 days there so that i'm guarenteed a chance to ride all the roller coasters at least once.

anyways, its y'alls turn. ;)

My parents have always wanted to go to Hawaii or New York City. Not that I want to, though... :o

That's why laptops were invented. :D

Dubai, Dubai, Dubai... I don't care who I have to take with me, I don't care if I have to go alone; that place just looks so goddamn beautiful. Goodbye #@!% English weather! Just long sandy beaches, the sun out every day, fancy food in all the fancy hotel restuarants, driving 4x4's in the desert and relaxing swims in the sea.

*Realises he isn't really going on an all-expenses-paid trip*

:ball:

I've been to Cedar Point. Isn't it called Paramount Park now or something? Cool place either way.

Since I live in Sunny Southwest Florida, its like a Vacation everyday. Except during tourist season when driving anywhere is an exercize in futility.

I like to get back at all the Yanks during the summer by heading up north and acting every bit of the backwoods hill billy redneck they expect me to be. Life is good.

I'll be heading to our 80acres in Alpena (Well... Alpena is closest actual city which is 45 minutes away) Michigan. Talk about relaxation... The days seem so long there, as it gets dark at like 10pm instead of 7pm. You can fit a whole weeks worth of activities in one day. Canoeing, camping, hiking, shooting the nieces and nephews with my paintball gun, picking wild strawberries and raspberries, Getting Hammered on Crown Royal and trying to "Catch" a deer. (Man I was soooo close last year!)

I hope I get to beat the rest of the relatives up there again this year. Its like, I dunno... Just extremely quiet and peaceful. I plan to fully develop my telekinesis while in utter solitude this year, wish me luck. If that fails, Atleast I'll have plenty of time with my Archery.
