robes and Crystals [possible spoiler]

I have a question. I have played the game straight through more than once,and I thought I had seen all of the robes and crystals.But when I went to Starwarsknights I seen new robes such as: Jolee's robe, Arca Jeths robe, Nomi's robe, and more.and new crystals as well.Please help. thanx

that would be the random-drop system at work. it was OE's idea to make the game a bit different each time you play the game. personally, i hate it.

 

what it does is that random items are spawned in the containers that you find throughout the game. unfortunately, the items that spawn are based on your character's level. in this way, the game somewhat controls when you get the uber crystals, robes, etc towards the end of the game, but it also prevents you from getting the really good stuff since you'll only be at around level 25-27 through normal leveling (without using gliches or cheats).

During my first playthrough, I picked up 9 Circlet of Saresh (was Quel-Droma that busy???). On the second playthrough, I got 58 Verpine Prototype Shields on the Ravager, and 35 suits of Iotran Braceman Armor at the Tray Acad. WTF?

I got 2 Circlets. And 70 Verpine Prototype Shields.

I got 121 gamorrean cleavers first playthrough. I felt like crying when I hit 100.

I didn't got anyone of these objects yet. Like has been said in this thread, someone has put this horrible mechanism of randomisation that makes almost impossible to find something that you want particularly. I noticed that when the pc's level increases, you get generally more precious objects, but it's impossible to avoid the randomisation anyway. Only few objects are every time placed in the same place,

as the Benok's blaster in Citadel Station during the Exchange quest, or the personal crystal in Dantooine, or Freedon Nadd short lightsaber and some other items.

That's it ... once I'm done with my consular sith lords playthrough I will start the game with a 15/50 Guardian Marauder (using KSE) so I get all the good stuff (maybe i'll be so powerful I won't need them) ...
