Khmara Posted April 15, 2005 Posted April 15, 2005 hey everyone. My name is Khmara in SWG and I play as Merc (likely one of many) on Battlefronts. My real name is Russell Campbell, and I am from Alberta, Canada where I work in the oilfields with Schlumberger. I love this game and I hope that they make the next one even better.
TK-8252 Posted April 15, 2005 Posted April 15, 2005 Perhaps this would have been better posted in the "Introduce yourself!" thread?
Khmara Posted April 15, 2005 Author Posted April 15, 2005 Perhaps instead you could say, "Hey there, pleased to meet you." And then I could say, "Thank you, pleased to meet you as well. I am glad to see that people don't give new thread users a hard time." ANd you could say "No, no. We are just glad you could join us." Just a thought.
ET Warrior Posted April 15, 2005 Posted April 15, 2005 While this did probably belong in the thread, and the sarcastic reply wasn't necessary because TK was only trying to help... Welcome, regardless. The community in the TaunTaun is kind of dead...not much posting goes on, but I hope you contribute
clonearcman Posted April 16, 2005 Posted April 16, 2005 What ET said. I get it a lot sometimes. You are nooootttt alone. Hey glad you could join us!
Khmara Posted April 18, 2005 Author Posted April 18, 2005 Thank you for the welcome. Sorry TK. Get a little snarky sometimes. Glad to meet all of you.

TK-8252 Posted April 18, 2005 Posted April 18, 2005 Originally posted by Khmara Thank you for the welcome. Sorry TK. Get a little snarky sometimes. Glad to meet all of you. No prob. Welcome to LF, and feel free to look around the different forums... like ET said, the TaunTaun is rather dead.
clonearcman Posted April 19, 2005 Posted April 19, 2005 Yeah but you sometimes get threads that are a little more interesting than the main SWBF forum.
ET Warrior Posted April 20, 2005 Posted April 20, 2005 If you want more off-topic discussion, Yoda's Swamp is usually pretty active, and we always welcome new community members.
stefanlinden Posted April 20, 2005 Posted April 20, 2005 I am welcoming you as well, it's nice that people like talking to other people by a forum. But anyway: Welcome!
