Will it have upgrades available to it? (such as normal melee weapon upgrades) or is it going to be a stand-alone, get-what-you-see type blade?

Id love to know what the attributes are in it? I mean the reguirements, and what are the damages and damage types, i would suggest that str reguirement could be quite high, since it is huge metal weapon.

Hmm, i havent really done anything on stats atm. I was just testing model ingame, but i thought it would be cool upgradeable but otherwise if it had good stats standalone could also work well.

 

Good side about upgradeable is you are able to upgrade it to what you want.

 

What do you guys reckon? I hadnt given that much thought until now :)

I like the fact that it could be upgradeable...

 

it leaves both options open... for those that like upgrades can... and those that don't have to upgrade if they don't want...

 

Though as you said, if you do make it upgradeable, I wouldn't add any additional "mega" stats.. maybe 1-2 minor ones at most :)

 

of course, it really boils down to what you would like (we can always edit our own uti's for personal use) ;)

My 3dsMax for some reason will not display the material editor!This was sure to stall completion time if it were not for Juha Avery, who used Gmax for the first time to do a superb mapping job on the sword. Thanx for your help!!!

It looks magnificent and if all goes well you can expect a release post later on today.

Oh yeah, i allmost forgot to say. I spoke with MudRat about it and if everything goes well, he is going to make the weapon upgradable. I cant wait to see how you gal's/guy's like it.

 

All you Star Wars Galaxies fan's out there, this is a absolute musthave for you guy's/gal's, and ofcourse for everyone else too.

that was a screenie from gmax, i skinned it with gmax so it should look like that in game if it looks like that in gmax, ask mudrat when hes going to make it fully compatible and he will send one.

Ok ok everyone, heres the update: Mod is complete except for icon. Looks great ingame, i have redone the skinning with a newly required Gmax to fix up a few of the finer points. Looks perfect. Ill post ASAP
