lschell1
I have had this copy of kotor tool for a great deal of time and it has worked for me before. just recently i decided to go to work on it again after updated my comp. every time i try to open it up i get an error message saying: "The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000135). Click on OK to terminate application." I thought maybe it was my .net framework but i have version 1.1 so i am completely at a loss. I was going to get kotor 2 but it would really be less fun if i couldn't edit (since i already have the xbox version). Please help me out with this. Thank you. Darkkender
1st: This should have been asked in the Kotor Tool thread that has long been established on the boards. 2nd: I would recomend downloading the latest version of KT out of principal. Beyond that there is no telling what might be causing the error. Especially if it used to work for you and now doesn't. This usually says you changed something within your system that has fouled up KT.

General Kenobi
Which did you update your computers os literally or the game? I do know some windows updates effect files that most think they would not. I've seen this issue with several of my school system's programs after updates to the os. If however it is your game that you recently updated I'd just upgrade to the newest KOTORtool. I do know that if you have your game updated fully and use the newest KOTORtool you will get that "chitin key" or whatever error. dang updates. FOR ME: To keep my TSL running smooth I don't update it Hope that helps DM

Fred Tetra
I would suggest that you also install (or reinstall!) the Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 before you try a different version of Kotor Tool. The error you're seeing typically occurs when it's absent or damaged (usually the former).
