ParanoidAndroid
I say end on a good note. Star Wars has become a legend, I do not want to see an endless series of star wars movies, each slightly worse then the last living off the original six's reputation to survive until even the most hardcore fan get sick and tired of it. In Ep III he told anikan, first before anikan knew he was the sith lord he told him that Darth Plageus had an apprentice and that the apprentice killed him while he was sleeping. Then when anikan found out he was the sith lord palp filled in the pieces saying I was the apprentice. So then we found out that palp was the apprentice. Do you remember the exact words? Because I really don't remember him saying that. I must have missed it I guess.
Ranre
Anikan said you were his apprentice too wernt you? And palp said yup. Thats basicly what he said, but he gives us the first clue when they are at the senate room looking at a cool water show thats going on.
ZBomber
Um... no. Anakin says "You're the Sith Lord!" not "You're the apprentice!". Sith Lord as in Darth Sidious, not the apprentice of Palgeus.
bootleg42
Originally posted by Ranre If there was going to be a new movie, it should be back in the time of KOTOR, i.e The Great Hyper Space Wars and The Fall of the Sith. Plus to make it interesting they could have prophesized the "Chosen One". But it shouldnt be about Luke, if it was in ep 7, 8, 9 the the story line, let alone the actor wouldnt work at all. Its just best to say that if Lucas is going to make something else it is going to have to be in the era of KOTOR. I read the KOTOR comics and played the two games and it is a good storyline but I do not believe it to be trilogy movie worthy. How about a new triology on Han Solo's kids, including the other son of his (not the twins) also named Anikan. He was born at the same time of the emeror's re-birth and it would be an interesting movie. Also a cartoon series on the "Old Republic Era" before ep 1,2 and 3 would be nice. But in all I say that Star Wars should not stop but at the same time they must have time in between their movies. Wait like 16-17 years till the next one. TK-8252
Here we go... RotS Visual Dictionary, Page 60 The Sith Have waited a millennium for the birth of one who is powerful enough to return them from hiding. Darth Sidious is that one - the Sith's revenge on the Jedi order for having nearly eradicated the practitioners of the dark side of the Force. Trained by Darth Plagueis, Sidious, in his guise as Palpatine, understood that the corrupt Republic and the subservient Jedi Order could be brought down by playing to the weaknesses of the former: its mindless bureaucracy and attachment to power. Zonzai
Oh boy... I can just see a series based on the NJO now. As Vader says in all of his overly-dramatic cliche glory, "NOOOOOOO!"
Kurgan
Originally posted by TK-8252 Here we go... WHAAAAT?? That's simply idiotic. Oh well... C-Level canon then. The movie makes it out to be that this is some ANCIENT SITH FROM THE PAST, not Palpatine's friggin' teacher. *sigh* One wonders if Palpy also knows the "legend of Darth Maul the Viscious" or "Darth Tyrannus the Handsome." Then again, perhaps there was more than one 'Darth Plagueis' in Sith history. Maybe...
