Flamehart
The man watched the group for awhile, probably by now an obvious presence in the room. He seemed interested in what they were up to.
Curt-Man
Ire then started to head off. He made his Ram go full speed, and was soon out of the city on his way to a small town to meet up with a contact from Ironforge.
Writer
((Only Jen is at the table with Bearog and Ilenal. Sam went through the back to their room.)) Jen sat down and looked at Ilenal. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Ilenal," she said in a low voice. "I am Jennifer and my sister is Samantha. We are better known as Jen and Sam. I wouldn't be surprised if you've heard of us... then again, I wouldn't be surprised if you haven't either." Meanwhile, Sam had replaced the bags in their room and came downstairs. She glanced toward where her sister sat with Ilenal and Bearog before moving to the corner where a strange man sat. "You seem to be taking an interest in the little group over there," she said, taking a seat next to him. ((Craig, I'd have mentioned that you might be mildly surprised by Sam's appearance after seeing Jen seated nearby, but I suddenly remembered that you've already seen both of them, so never mind. ))
Black Knight of Keno
Ilenal looked at Jen quietly, his eyes examining her slowly. "Umh... He's not really talkative..." Bearog said and looked at the two staring at each others. Ilenal looked suddenly at Bearog and the barbarian could feel his eyes narrowing at him almost angrily. The barbarian swallowed quietly and backed off a bit, ordering an ale to himself. Ilenal looked back at Jen and at last let out a smile under the shadows of his hood. "You're either elves or humans... I am not sure" he suddenly said, his voice a bit brighter than usually. If they were actually elves, it would be his first contact with another of his species since the destruction
Flamehart
((We'll say he didn't know they were twins. He might've just seen the back of their heads from his box seat view in the alley lol.)) The man blinked, kind of confused for a moment, but it didn't take him long to figure it out, and his suprise was evident on his face. He looked at Sam and replied, his tone sounding quiet and tired, "Your small group is the only people I've seen since I fled my home. I'm not plotting anything, I don't want to bring any danger to your group." He looked down. He wanted to ask to accompany them, because his many days of solitary exile was proving to be more harm than good to himself, but once again, he was held back by his wishes to not bring that which was following him upon the group. Writer
Jen smiled at Ilenal. "We are something between the two," she answered. "Neither fully Elf nor fully Human." She brushed her hair gently away from her left ear. It was slightly pointed... not so pointed as an Elf ear and yet not fully round like the ear of a Human. "Our mother was an Elf. Our father was Human." Sam laughed at the man's astonishment and smiled when he spoke. "It would take a lot to be dangerous to my sister and I," she said. She stared at him intently for a moment. "You're being chased," she finally said. "I can see it in your eyes. You're afraid of whatever it is." She sighed. "If you want to talk about it, I will listen." Black Knight of Keno
Ilenal looked away and his eyes narrowed. 'Half-elves... Great... Like I need that scum around me right now...' he thought, shaking his head slightly under ths still hood. His eyes looked at Bearog for a moment, then they just disappeared to watch into emptyness. Bearog looked at Ilenal and then at Jen. "So, what do you want with me?" he asked, tilting his head a bit
Flamehart
The man looked at the woman, "I do not mean that I will bring any harm upon you two myself..." he trailed off. He sighed and nodded. "It's a long story..." he started, "I used to be part of a more..chivalrous family. My father was a Knight of some sort, and he taught me how to fight. Just last year, our town fell to demons or something. We didn't know what hit us. I fled, in order to survive. The..monsters..that destroied my home..they've been following me, as if they don't want to leave any eyewitnesses about what happened alive. I've been travelling for a year now, trying to get away from it."
Writer
"It gets worse than a half-Elf," Jen said, still staring at Ilenal. "Somewhere along the line, our bloodline was crossed with a shapeshifter." Her eyes darkened to brown as she said this and then faded back to blue. She sighed. "I cannot change what blood runs in my veins. But I can decide the kind of person I want to be." Sam looked at the man who sat next to her. "Perhaps we can help you," she said. She offered a hand. "I'm Samantha, by the way. We never introduced ourselves properly. My sister and I are assassins... of a kind. We pick our own jobs and occasionally take on the job of protectors. I can speak for us both as I know she would be as intrigued by you as I am." Curt-Man
The town was close so it not take long to get there. Once Ire reached the Tavern he tied up his ram and headed in, once inside he saw his contact and walked over to him. "Iregrin, King Magni was ordered you off your duty." "What? why?" "Because someone who has superior skills has come to take over." "And who would that be?" "Me" "You dirty little BASTARD!" with that Ire lept at him and whipped out his smaller axe and sliced the man's neck. "Superior skills my hairy little arse." Ire said, then looked around to see everybody looking at him. "Sorry for the mess." Ire said then threw a small bag of coins at the barkeep, then walked out and untied the ram, mounted it and rode back to the other town.
Black Knight of Keno
"Well that's just even better..." Ilenal mumbled and for the first time with the barbarian around, he ordered an ale. Bearog shook his head at Ilenal and looked at Jen with a raised eyebrow. "I ask again, What do you want with me. I want to get over this as swiftly as possible"
Flamehart
((It's not possible to change your account name without remaking your entire account is it?)) The man reached out with his hand and shook hers, nodding. "My name's..Virgil." He seemed rather reluctant about it. He wasn't particularly shy, but after a year of solitary travel, he hadn't had much contact with anyone who he felt he could trust. Also the fact that she just confessed they were assassins worried him, because he was quite sure he caused a few troubles during his passing from town to town, and hoped she wouldn't recognize his name. He didn't particularly want to deal with his past accidents, his worst one being accidently leading the monsters he was fleeing from into a defenseless village, and he couldn't even fathom how much his head would be worth after that. He shifted his position slightly, moving his one hand that had been on his sword hilt the whole conversation onto the table. "Why does my story intrigue you?" He asked curiously, "I don't find anything about the destruction they caused fascinating in any particular way," he finished.
Curt-Man
Ire rode fast and hard. He hated being told not to do something rihgt after he was told to do it. He rode right up to the Inn, tied up his ram, stormed in and ordered 6 of the barkeeps strongest stuff.

Writer
For the moment, Jen ignored Bearog and spoke to Ilenal. Her tone was bitter. "You speak as though I am the stereotypical cross-breed... arrogant, selfish, thinking better of myself than of anyone else." She crossed her arms over her chest. "You couldn't be more mistaken. There is only one stereotypical trait I have and that's my temper. It's very short, but I think you could already see that." "Maybe you weren't listening," she went on. "Or maybe you chose to ignore me when I said I do have a choice as to how I act." Then, she sighed. "I am sorry. I let my temper get the better of me." She turned to Bearog. "In answer to your question, we already told you that you know the location of our next target." Sam looked at Virgil and nodded. "It's not the destruction that's so fascinating," she said. "We are intrigued by your story." She leaned back in her chair. "We have heard of you." She paused to let the words sink in. "But we never accept an assassination job without first researching the target. In your case, our research took you off our list." "You have nothing to fear from us," she said. "In fact, we want to help you... but we need you to tell us more about your past. Our research was enough to remove you from our target list, but that didn't take much... we know what you're running from and... well, maybe I should let Jen talk to you about this." Black Knight of Keno
"Oh, that was nothing yet. If tha would've been a good burst of temper, you would've found my knife in your stomach" he said and sipped the ale slowly, almost elegantly. The barbarian shook his head at the two. This could not get good if they were left alone. "So, who is it? Who are you looking for? We have some other business down south that can't wait"
Flamehart
The man looked rather relieved, then nodded. "I appreciate it, and I would like to accept your help, but I've caused quite a bit of damage on my own, I don't want to bring anything upon you. However I will still listen to you and your sister, considering you two do have a choice whether or not you want to involve yourself with my problem. I'm not going to pretend I don't need help. I do, and I'm willing to listen." He answered in a much more calm, composed tone than when he first started talking to her.
Curt-Man
After Ire downed all six drinks, he stopped. He wasn't close to ebing hammered, not even drunk, he just needed those six to calm him down. "Help me in my time of anger and spite, help me in my time of running and fright, oh Gods of old" Ire whsipered to the Gods.
Writer
((Sorry for the long delay... got a new job and just haven't had the time I used to.)) "We will wait for my sister," Sam told Virgil. "She is not yet done with whatever business she's got going over there. When she is, she'll come over and we'll talk." "The man we're looking for is known as Katsuu," Jen told Bearog, ignoring Ilenal for the moment. "We were told that he tried to pick a fight with you while he was drunk. When you pushed him down into a seat, he muttered something. Eyewitnesses assume he told you where he was going and challenged you to follow him and fight him without alcohol in his system." Black Knight of Keno
"i've met lots of people challenging me to follow them. Most of them have no head right now. Where was this?" he asked and looked at the woman with a raised eyebrow, ilenal staying quiet. Ilenal had himself seen how Bearog had beheaded an assassin once they had gotten her into an awfully tight place ((Meh... That could've been longer... Wildjedi, It's okay... Black Knight of Keno
((No pressure, dude... No pressure... But we know where you live... >_> )) "Bet?" he chuckled. "Hoo-boy... I lost that guy. Last time I heard of him was in Transyssos near the border. And he didn't say any threatheHe told me that he knew it. He knew where something was and everybody was trying to get the information, or something..." Bearog said and chuckled. The assassin blad-bood twins had gotten incorrect information at some point of their journey. Either from the lousy bartenders, clueless drunks or just the money-loving 'Upper class'. Jen and Sam have to leave the INN and they'll run into him.)) "What a happy surprise," Jen answered. She kept her face a careful mask of carelessness, but inside she was furious. "Information? Perhaps it will be more beneficial to interrogate him first." She stood. "Thank you, Bearog. You have been most helpful." She turned and went over to Sam and Virgil. "And who is this?" she asked. Sam looked up at her. "Jen, this is Virgil," she answered. A look of understanding immediately came to Jen's face as she took a seat and held out her hand toward Virgil. "A pleasure to meet you, sir," she said.
