Mythos
I know, you ask yourself: How can one person have so many questions, but here is my next one. General question: What tool do you use for dialog editing? I have looked into the Kotor Tool and into tk102's DLGEdit. But with both I had this... Specific problem: I edited a bit in the dhagon.dlg (Dhagon Gent). It also seem to work but then, When I wanted to make a meeting with Kavar, and there should be a cutscene in the palace between Kavar and the queen. But this does not start. Then I moved my dialog out of the override dir, and all I did this time was opening it and saving it (without changeing anything). I went through the dialog again and in the end, when it should switch to the scene in the palace, the dialog simply ended again. So I have to ask for your wisdom again: How do I get this working??? Darth333
For kotor 2 you have to use tk102's dlg editor as Kotor tool does not support all the new fields added in the .dlg files. With Kotor Tool's editor, you cannot pass parameters to a script form a .dlg file, per example. So when you save your file with Kotor tool you will loose all that data and it will mess up your game. Extract a fresh .dlg file from the game (do not open it with KT) and then edit with tk102's editor.
Mythos
I thought something like that. So, how do I extract files? edit: found it in the readme. PS: And does the 1.0.8 version of the DLGEditor work with Kotor2, or is that to old, too (I see no fields for script parameters, too).

I think the latest version is like 1.2.0 or something close to that. If you look in Darth333's sig she has a link to StarWarsKnights.com which has all of our latest tools released there. If you want to see it: Here you go I think about setting it up at pcgamemods, too. But first, I will add something for the other non-jedi (especially the droids), too, I think...
