Welcome to the forums Inadaze! :)

Are you trying to get the mod to work, or are you trying to create your own skins and such? As Achilles' has said, some more details can help us help you :D

Most skin mods will require you to drop the appropriate files into your game's "Override" folder to work...

for TSL, you will need to create this folder. Simply create a new folder and name it "Override"... The Override folder should be within your game's install directory.. default path is:

C:\Program Files\LucasArts\SWKotOR2\Override

Also, be sure you are extracting the files from the .zip or .rar file.... putting them (the archive file) directly into the override won't work, you'll need to extract the contents, then place those contents into the folder...

Another thing is if your PC/NPC already has such an item in-game... you may need to respawn the item in order for the newly modded item to have the new stats...

You can do this with the cheat console, or better yet tk102's KSE (KotOR Savegame Editor) which you can download here:

http://www.starwarsknights.com/tools.php

Let us know if this helps :)

Well, since his problem apparently concerns skins, he shouldn't have to do that, so long as he doesn't mess with the model variations.
