mattcrowston Posted July 28, 2005 Share Posted July 28, 2005 Hey, I was wondering if anyone has made a new uvw map for the default lightsaber hilt in TSL. Because the one that comes with the model in game is messed. I am not much of a 3D modeler. Just picked it up a couple weeks ago. If anyone has one they wouldn't mind me using that was a little easier to understand I would be very greatful. I was also gonna ask if anyone on the board would be willing to help me with a little skinning. I have a small lightsaber mod that I am working on. I would like to put a robe or perhaps some equipment with it. Credit with definitely be given. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. I haven't seen the Sepritho post though. Thought I had been through them all. Thanks again. I am still interested in finding someone who would be willing to help me with some skinning. mattcrowston Posted July 30, 2005 Author Share Posted July 30, 2005 Ok. I just went ahead and experimented with the uvw mapping. Just cause I need to learn. Anyways, I got the uvw map working and exported the mdl. I used mdlops and converted it back to binary. And the saber works in game, the hilt looks fine. But.... There are a few problems with the blade. I am sure this is total newbie stuff but I would like some help. I have posted a pic to demonstrate what is wrong. And I also posted one of the hilts I have been working on. These are not new models, just reskins of the in game ones. If you have an idea of what is wrong with the blade. Please let me know. Thanks.
