Questions on Avatar Editing

Im working on a new avatar using paint, it's the same as my current one, but the letters are going to be white, thing is, there's no way to change text color under Text editing.

in mspaint you change the text color the same way you change the brush color. its been a really long time since i used paint, so i hope thats it

I haven't used Paint in well, years.. but isn't the text determined by the color defined in the foreground?
