90SK Posted October 14, 2005 Posted October 14, 2005 My friend used to have a Red Sox baseball cap that he wore all the time, like, every day. It was incredibly worn down and falling apart when he finally retired it. It was too small for him. Everyone has a "hat", they just need to find it first. You can wear any old thing on your head, but a true "hat" is much more personal.
El Virus Posted October 18, 2005 Author Posted October 18, 2005 Yes, I agree there. Like many objects of our own; we have all got a certain item that we 'worship' for some reason or another. I'm not a big fan of Baseball Caps, however. On a side note, I have recently purchased an old Boater/Skimmer, and I must say, those were truly amazing hats.
Velasco Posted October 19, 2005 Posted October 19, 2005 A beanie, when the cold weather comes. Thats about it. I generally look pretty dumb in hats.
Shuz Posted October 19, 2005 Posted October 19, 2005 Same, although sometimes I'll wear a bucket hat if the sun is particularly blazing
neon_git Posted October 21, 2005 Posted October 21, 2005 For me it's all about the beanie hats - i love the way you can jam it on your head as your walking out the house and it covers up your hideous matted mess of a hair cut.
