@RexR, It's laid out so that S2S combat should work well, and there is planned combat for the story mode;)

 

@MiraA, There's an entire engineering deck, so there should be plenty of opportunities for tech related quests;) I'm starting off filling up more civillian areas and general control an command structure, and won't get to the engines for a while, but if you'd like to make it as your own mod you're more than welcome:)

 

@DarkB, I still have no clue as to how it could happen???

Is your Kotor Tool working properly?

What other mods do you have installed (I don't see what it could be, but there may be a conflict with another mod, the only mod I'm using is D3's armband utility, and my mod doesn't use spells.2da yet so there's no conflict)

 

Try deleting all F'sCS files and starting the game again without the ship installed, if it still does it then it might be something else.

I think he's refering to the prologue where T3 has to fix the ebon hawks engines.

 

It seems he has more of a problem with corrupted files, file incompatability, or operator error, and trying to mod around that could cause problems, it'd be better to just to identify the problem and correct it.

@RexR, Well, it's the "super star destroyer" of it's day, the idea is that it was one of Revan's personal projects and that it was abandoned due to costs and complexity, the ravager design, while smaller and less advanced, was the one put into production as construction on the FCS was halted.

Most of the S2S combat I have planned will involve smaller harbinger type ships attampting to swarm it.

That's what I'm not sure, If there is it would require someone who can modify the turret games, or kidnapping Gsccc and his crew to make it:lol:

If I can get something happenning externally it would be great, but most of the story segments involving the ship being attacked usually involve boarding parties, I admit I don't know how to do the external stuff but I preffer face to face showdowns;)

You said in your thread in TUCE that you might want to add some stuff :) Well, I still think of myself as a relative newb modder, but I'm there for all those pesky tasks that just take up time. If you want, I can make new items (like the stats and stuff :xp: ) but I can't model or skin for crap and beans.

im a noob at modding, but i would love to help in any way. im looking for any way to increase my modding knowledge and abilities. the most ive have done so far is create new items... :newbie:

I'm sorry to announce that I still haven't been able to get my PC working (believe it or not, I crashed it while testing a game character:rofl: I might have tried to many animations or something) anyway, I'm down for the count and can't morally ask anybody to do anything if I can't work on it myself.

:(

 

The basic source files are still there if anybody wants them ( I may have to re-upload them) your free to use them any way you want:)

Well, not dead, I'm still putting together the outline for the story phase.

I just can't mod right now. (can't play any good games either:()

 

If anyone wants to work on stuff and contribute it to the project it'd definitely help keep it alive, but it would be wrong of me to ask anyone to do a certain task if I'm not contributing myself.

Also if anyone wants to make their own interpretations of the ship, or use it in their mods, that's perfectly fine with me, that's what it's there for;) (although, I'll try to re-upload it sometime the next couple days, usually by the time I remember it needs done it's too late and I put it off for another day, kinda like tonight;))

 

Since the project is just stalled, you can still suggest anything and debate any aspect of it here, the more ideas now, the more for me to do when I get my compy running again:D

I like the ideas everyone has mentioned, I personally think they are all too much for a simple ship. I think most of them should be on a planet or a yacht(such as gotos). I personaly wanted to have the ravenger for my ship rather than the hawk. This is turning into a whole new game itself which is awesome!!!!! I definantly want to see all this come out to be played. Everyone has great ideas and hope for the best. Good job and keep it up redjohnnymike!!!

Thanks DLM, if I hope to get back to work as soon as possible.

A whole new game, was what I had in mind from the start, and while a lot of the content is shipboard, I will add planets, I just want to focus on characters in the ship. (Trek, Battlestar, B5, for example)

My browser must be messed up and I couldn't PM you, but your welcome to make anything you want involving the ship. I don't want to add any files in with the "official" project download unless I can test them first, but for now you could just release anything you make as a seperate download compatible with the current release.

 

One of the purposes of the project was to provide a "new" area for everyone to mod for, and that shouldn't be hindered my lack of mod tools/testing/playing:)

jedi7000nathan, the Release thread for this mod is in the Taris Upper City Emporium and the link to download it is there. This is something you could have easily found on your own too. ;)

One thing you could add would be a toilet i mean NPCs have to go too ya know

another idea would be a cinema or a "Fly-through" theater.

Maybe even a library where you could learn force techniques or some thing.

or maybe even a garbage dump/disposal where you could find stuff that people on your ship throw away

@tac, I originally planned an area for random hygiene junk, but I'm still not sure how to actually "use" it. Any suggestions?

 

I don't know about cinema (I had considered making something similar to a holodeck) I'm not sure how a cinema would be implemented, dunno if animated wall textures could support a full movie???? I would like to make any cinematics availabe through the menu.

 

There might be a library, but force learning will be well spread throughout the ship and story.

 

We discussed the "trash can" a while back, but I don't think we came up with npc recycled items.

I thought of is as just being eye candy but you could use it to restore health

lol

or maybe find random junk in the toilets or maybe tiles with emphasis on "junk"
