JediKnight707 Posted November 1, 2005 Posted November 1, 2005 I couldn't get on any multiplayer games becuase it would say vehicles extensions to big (*.veh), so I tried to uninstall it. Then it said that it couldn't uninstall it becuase it couldn't find the DLL/library. So, I was really pissed off and I decided just to delete the damn Jedi Acdemy Folder from the LucasArts folder (I thought that it would allow me to install it again). But it won't allow me to do crap Can anyone help?
Kurgan Posted November 1, 2005 Posted November 1, 2005 Use a registry scanner program like Registry Mechanic to fix the problems. The vehicles problem is due to a limitation in the engine, which is aggravated by too many vehicle pk3's installed in your base folder. Remove them and things should return to normal. Also, your sig images are TOO HUGE! The rule is 80 kb or less for each image, please fix 'em!
acdcfanbill Posted November 1, 2005 Posted November 1, 2005 also you could double click the file on your ja disc1 called setup.exe.
JediKnight707 Posted November 2, 2005 Author Posted November 2, 2005 Well, I completly deleted all of the files from Jedi Academy, so theres nothing there (original or moded).
acdcfanbill Posted November 3, 2005 Posted November 3, 2005 the setup file is on your CD1, also, your sig images are still too large.
JediKnight707 Posted November 4, 2005 Author Posted November 4, 2005 I'll change them soon, and thank you its reinstalling now
acdcfanbill Posted November 6, 2005 Posted November 6, 2005 it wasnt a request, it was more like a command and since i removed them your free to add some under 80KB image if you like
JediKnight707 Posted November 7, 2005 Author Posted November 7, 2005 Whats wrong with having a sig with more than 80kbs?
ZeroX2 Posted November 7, 2005 Posted November 7, 2005 Not everybody has a fast connection, and 'large' images cause pages to load slowly for those people.
