Did he say 'C-3PO' or "the Droid's"?

He said "Have the protocol droid's memory wiped."

You know!? I didn't catch that... That would give more meaning to R2D2's return to Tatooine, and claiming that he is in search of his old Master.

R2 is definitely better at keeping a secret. After all, Princess Leia entrusts him with the coded message to Obi Wan Kenobi and the technical readouts of the first Death Star.

C-3PO, by way of his talkative nature woudl inadvertently let something "slip".
