which class?

i just got the starter kit and i was wondering what class i should be. i was thinking commando or force sensitve but on the discription is says commandos can weild a sword i want a light saber so. is a force sensitive better than commando or what do you suggest?

Oly Jedi can wield a light saber.

 

When they say sword, they mean a real sword made from metals.

Lightsabers are not that much good in SWG anymore. I looted a dagger that does more damage than the 4th gen lightsaber I made when I was jedi.

i still did not get a recommendation so.... since i read its so hard to be a jedi ill prolly pick commando cause gun are cool. but what else good can force sensitive do?

well in a previous thread they laid out a lot of FS skills coming to the game. Like mind trick and force cloak for starters. Then we have the usual lightning, force chock, and force run aswell as some small 30 second buffs. Don't get your hopes up though you won't be elite and will probably still be the worst PvP class since we're basically melee in a ranged world now. I personnaly can't wait for the new skills to boost my role playing fun and I never was much on pvp anyway.

i believe commando is hands down the best damage dealing class, someone correct me if i'm wrong, because i dont really know, but from what i've read commando is the best, my cousin is one and thier grenades really do a lot

 

although they are the best class, they might not be the most fun, and thats what playing a game is all about right? some other classes offer a lot of cool stuff too

One wicked profession is really spy They can use hiding, sneaking, and other stealth abilities They can throw a smoke grenade and vanish from combat

badass man.I am a medic and I can do some pretty cool stuff like piosen people then target their anatomy and do a 2 hit kill on pretty much anyting lower than level 25.Which is not much at all but it still is good.

well if heavy weapons go commando only then do it cause lvl 88 then u get the lava canon, 544 - 1024 damage i believe, he he, plus the mines are cool

Having been a Master Rifleman, one of the most awesome professions in the old system, I immediately identified with OFFICER. Love the ranged attacks, especially the sniper shots. Also, the area strikes and group buffs are very nice.
