I absolutly love these :) If you haven't heard of them, this series is about things that are legends that haven't been proven, or stuff that might be true. Here's a list of all of them:

Fact or Fiction? (this one is just overall stuff (with great things on Disney/Pepsi))

Ghosts (as the name suggest, ghosts (with some scary ass s**t)

Origin's (where names of brands were made, etc.)

Death's (unexplained deaths, etc.)

Alien's (sure as hell made me believe in them :))

Fact or fiction pt. 2 (same as part one, except with different stuff, a narrator (kinda), and a voting poll)

Evidence (a continuation of all of the above)

Credit goes to JKCinema for all of these. They're awesome!! :D

Alien videos are crap. If sentient life has found a way to traverse the distance between there planet and ours, why come here? Earth is a hell whole. Those videos are bull.

So are ghosts. If you were living on a new plain of existance, why would you stick around here? I'm not saying that they don't exist, just that most "sightings" are a load of crap.

Just my opinion.

I thought that a Doctor would have more sense than to say that :tsk: What if, we are actaully a good planet compared to others? We have never seen other planets, so perhaps, we are a heaven compared to others. Just my thoughts :)

So you mean all other planets in the universe suck more than Earth?

Think about it:

1)We're killing our planet. We're also trying to reach others (Mars). We should fix our own planet before we go screwing with other ones.

2)We're killing each other. And the worst part is, we keep coming up with new and more efficient ways of doing it. This also cannot be happening with a species who have mastered space travel.

3)We're screwing around with things we shouldn't be, a prime example being nano-technology. Remeber the Borg? That's our destiny if we continue screwing around like this.

We have to face it: the human race has got to be one of the most barbaric species out there. Why would any other sentient race bother with us?

No, we don't know about that. We, in all fairness, are pretty bad, but we have never seen anyone else. Who knows what other beings are like. They might blow up other planets, which is one thing that we haven't done. Yes, we are devolping new ways to hurt each other faster, but maybe that's just the point. Faster. Get it over with. Believe it or not, war is sometimes neccesary. Sometimes, you have to force your way in. I am not exactly a war-hungry man, but I do believe that it is neccesary in certain situations.

If you think about it, who knows: If there are aliens out there, how do we know that they aren't just like humans? Ignoramuses messing around and trying to control things that they can't/shouldn't, and having war after war. But anyways, I don't really think the human race is really bad. No one is perfect- some things like wars are unavoidable, and they're not always the whole human race's fault.

 My point exactly :D

Hmmm, so the ability to fly around very fast is the means to end all hatred? Oh, and we're all going to end up like borg but far less cool because we won't have space travel?

I see. All logical and well thought out conclusions you have there, Doc.

Any species that has been able to travel here from outside our solar system must have eliminated war, at least amonst themselves, long ago. They must have learned the value of cooperation.

Not yet.

Your rationalizing, thinking that because we are the worst things on our planet, we are the worst things in the universe. And how is that because they can fly farther than us, they're best friends amongst themselves? That's not very well thought out. We fly everyday, and yet, there are wars everywhere.

EDIT: And yes, violence has gotten us places.

I never said that. I just said that they would have stopped killing each other.

Not necessarily. I'm just saying that we could end up destroying ourselves before we ever get out there and meet other species.

Our current means of flying is still restricted by war. If we don't get along with that country, we don't fly there.

Every country will have to cooperate to make our mark in space.

I think there has been a misunderstanding. I never said that we are the worst species out there, I said we were possibly one of the worst.

Where has violence gotten us? Look at us. We're sitting here squabbling over meaningless crap and trying to gain material wealth. We have been since the dawn of our existence. Violence causes only death and destruction. As long as there is war in our worls, there is suffering.

Killing her to save her? No offense, but that's quite possibly the stupidst thing I've ever heard.

Nothing humans have invented helps Earth. At least not enough.

Besides, walking's healthier;)

Haven't you ever hurt yourself to make yourself healthier? Ever heard the saying, what doesn't kill you makes you stronger?

We can't just skip over hundreds/thousands of years of technological developement to a point where we do not harm the planet. Right now we need things like fossil fuels and such to further our advancement and there's no amount of, "getting along" that will circumvent that simple fact. So in a way we are killing her to eventually help her or at least to get to a point we we're not hurting her.
