Good Sir Knight Posted January 28, 2006 Posted January 28, 2006 Alot of people still play this game, but Jedi Academy is superior, and more people play it. I've never played JA, I know I really should try it but I'm to addicted to JO. I wonder which one will last longer? EDIT: when everyone else stps playing it, you'll have to play with yourself This is probably the first time I "laughed out loud" on here.
FalloutMan Posted January 28, 2006 Posted January 28, 2006 This is probably the first time I "laughed out loud" on here. Well, im glad i was the first to accomplish that. Now give em a cookie Biatch!!! i hope people got the smilie in my post

FalloutMan Posted January 29, 2006 Posted January 29, 2006 Yes, the "whack" bit. like youve never hit your ol pressure relief valve :
StaffSaberist Posted January 29, 2006 Posted January 29, 2006 True or not, that's not for forum discussion. If you want, open a thread to discuss whacking and see how fast the mods close it. I bet you could time it with a stopwatch, and it'd come out less than 10 minutes.
FalloutMan Posted January 29, 2006 Posted January 29, 2006 it'd come out less than 10 minutes. nice choice of words
StaffSaberist Posted January 29, 2006 Posted January 29, 2006 If you really want to discuss this, PM me or something. Otherwise, can we please let this off-topic discussion die? There. Make fun of that in a juvenile way.
FalloutMan Posted January 29, 2006 Posted January 29, 2006 i was planning on that one being my last. this forum needs a little humor every once in awhile
killerDOTcom Posted February 13, 2006 Posted February 13, 2006 i play this one too becuz i havnt bought JKA yet
StaffSaberist Posted February 13, 2006 Posted February 13, 2006 I like JO because the anims and cameras make Kyle look more human. I dunno, maybe it's the atmosphere, but JA seems so controlled, so... leashed. JO seems a little bit more wild, and I'm fine with that.
Kurgan Posted February 14, 2006 Posted February 14, 2006 When he runs though, he looks like he has on really tight pants, or else has to go to the bathroom... (adjusted in JA) The difference between SP and MP in either game is dramatic. I prefer the MP animations though. Sure they're less flashy, but I feel like I'm more in control. That it's tighter and more controlled gives a good feedback, even if it's less showy. Maybe "more human" is right like you were saying, but for a game, I prefer consistency in some cases.
dumbledore Posted February 14, 2006 Posted February 14, 2006 I have begun modding TSL. Check it out here. http://kevan.org/brain.cgi?Your%20mom O_O
dumbledore Posted February 15, 2006 Posted February 15, 2006 lol, if you try and refresh that page i linked to it says something about a shotgun. ;o
Kurgan Posted February 15, 2006 Posted February 15, 2006 Graaaagh! StaffSaberist attempted to eat your brains, but was violently repelled by someone with a shotgun. StaffSaberist has eaten 363 other brains. Foiled! Now get back to modding TSL...
Space Goat Posted February 15, 2006 Posted February 15, 2006 I still play JO online from time to time, more than I do JA. Jedi Outcast feels more refined than Jedi Academy, IMO. JA has more features, but Raven didn't take the time to polish them.
