Slocket Posted February 16, 2006 Posted February 16, 2006 The manual talks about missile and laser defense satellite additions that can be built. I assume the same way long range scanner and gravity well generators can be added to the extra slots next to the space stations. Anyone seen these? Were they dropped? MP skirmish only? Can we mod them back in to play with? Maybe Campaign story only? Plus astroid mines, merchant docks... Shutter Shields are not listed on the Tech Chart included either.
swphreak Posted February 17, 2006 Posted February 17, 2006 They're there. Just hover a ship really close to the emplacements and pick laser or missile. Go near an astroid mine and build the same way. I know I've seent hem in Skirmish and Multiplayer.

popcorn2008 Posted February 17, 2006 Posted February 17, 2006 They are mainly constructed in skirmish maps, they look similar to a long range scanner. They are essentially build pads in space. You capture them with fighter squads.
