manoman81
I'm working on a website using Flash. I've made a text box with <i>scroll buttons</i> and it's pretty good for being an rookie with Flash. I'm doing it all by inserting .swf movies onto the page. Now, if I insert some html tags will Flash recognize it or will it just display all of the tags and look really stupid?
MTV2
don't u use dreamweaver of fireworks for making web pages? and i think they should be kept seperate, HTML and .swf.
manoman81
Well, I'm using flash movies to display my content. I'm using action script to make the links. Here's the link the page. It's not quite finished yet and I'm trying to make some adjustments and other content. <b>(Edit: Check below for updated URL)</b< I just asked my buddy if the links work and he said that they do. I'm having trouble with my schools network so can someone see if they are working for sure? Thanks

Those are really, really distracting. Nice work, but try to remember that flash is not good for everything.
manoman81
OK, I reworked a lot of the site. I lowered the # of AOPIA things and slowed it down. I have most of the the links working, but ran out of time before class yesterday before I could finish anything else. Contacts still don't work and the gallery is empty at the moment. Again, this isn't really ready to go officially live just yet, so any other crtiques would be great. By the way, the links don't seem to work in FireFox. Is there a way to get them to work? Samuel Dravis
I'm using Firefox 1.5 and the links are working, except for the Contacts one. About the AIOPEA things... just the way they twitch around keeps moving my eyeballs their direction when I'm trying to read the text. It's very unnerving and people say it looks weird. You're aiming for people with resolutions > 800x600 I assume, right?
manoman81
Well, enough people don't like the random movement thing, so I'll take it out. As for resolution, I set it so that it will expand for all resoulutions. As for the links, yeah I forgot to change my pop-up blocker...>.> Thanks guys
