The Seeker
Okay, so I just installed a second Hard Drive on my system. I'm not running RAID, just sort of a backup option. Got the power cord plugged in, got the Serial cord plugged in. It found the device in my BIOS, finds the device in the device manager, and on intel's hardware monitor. But, when I go to "my computer" to save to it and share it and all that good stuff, it isn't there. Since the system is finding it, what am I forgetting to get it to recognize it as a storage device that I can save to. Any ideas?
BongoBob
You need to format it. I can't remember exactly how, but a similar thing happened to me. Google formatting a hard drive in xp. I hope that helps
Jeff
I think you right-click on my computer, and say disk management, or something. I'll verify later when I go in windows...
