zadi
If Master Kavar fought in the Mandalorian Wars then why is it only the Exile is punished for having fought in it? It makes no sense that they said she was the only one to return from the War when it's obvious Kavar went, fought and returned to help sentence her/him to exile. Unless they meant that Kavar fought in the Mandalorian Wars and returned BEFORE Malachor V's destruction and Exile was punished for the destruction that occured there at her/his hands. stoffe
If Master Kavar fought in the Mandalorian Wars then why is it only the Exile is punished for having fought in it? Where does it state that Kavar fought in the Mandalorian Wars? I can't remember it being mentioned anywhere in the game (along the lightside path at least). As far as I know it's only stated that Kavar fought in the War against Revan's Sith, where he apparently dueled with Malak (though the fight was apparently interrupted since they were both alive afterwards). Point Man
As I recall, Kavar did not fight in the Mandalorian War. Candalore tells you that the Mandalorians expected Kavar to lead the Republic against them, but instead it was Revan.
Vibro
Mandalore mentions that he expected it would be Kavar that led the force against the Mandalorian's, however, it was Revan. No-one states that Kavar had any part in the war however.
Melly
Vrook does mention that Kavar "took to war more the a Jedi should" but I figured that meant the Jedi Civil War.
Alkonium
Perhaps Kavar did not get punished because he only joined after the Council felt the time was right, which would explain a lot.
Melly
I was under the impression that the Jedi Council never joined the Mandalorian Wars, and only joined the Jedi Civil War because they had no choice?
Non-false Jedi
He did fight in the Jedi Civil War, and he was a Jed Guardian. i think that might be what he would mean. Mandalore says he thought he wass killed fighting Malak.
Busby06
I think that Kavar did fight during the Jedi Civil war, as the council was envolved and sanctioned the war. He did not fight in the Mandalorian wars as he is a memeber of the council and he made that decision to stay out of it. Mandalore tells you that he expected Kavar to lead the republic. Why he thought this i don't know, maybe he was the most experienced Jedi in combat, maybe he has been envolved in many wars, i don't know. But as you know Kavar didn't and Revan and Malak did. zadi
Thanks guys. I didn't even consider it was the Jedi Civil War they were talking about.
JediMaster12
Kavar did fight in the Jedi Civil war. I can't remember exactly where but somewhere in the dialogue it is mentioned by the Exile that he thought he died in the Jedi Civil War. I'm not sure and it's been awhile since I've played.
