Only cuz you let it.

Ahhh,... To sleep, perchance to dream!

Huh? What?!?

Oh yeah, I forgot, I'm at work right now.

No sleeping.

Damn.

There's a song by one of my favorite bands, The Barenaked Ladies (They're the ones that sang "If I Had A Million Dollars") Here's the Chorus:

Who needs sleep?

Well, you're never gonna get it!

Who needs sleep?

Tell me what's that for!

Who needs sleep?

Well you're never gonna get it,

There's a guy who's been awake,

Since the Second World War!

That guy... Yeah, the one that's been awake since the Second World War... That's me!

We've been going about this all wrong. This Mr. Stay Puft is okay. He's a sailor, he's in New York.

We get this guy laid, we won't have any trouble.

Yeah my breakfast is always at about 12 or 1.

My lunch then comes about 2. I guess that's why I'm never hungry when supper comes around.

You people.

Am I the only one who enjoys getting up early?

Explanation: I'm currently living in Ottawa. Everyone here starts work at ~9 am. Between cars and construction/destruction, the noise is effectively non-stop. Work stops around 5 pm. Then everybody in the city starts drinking and partying.

Early morning is the only time of the day I can hear myself think.
