Shadowfang3D
well.. now the texture on my robe is actually working.. just one slight problem its on the dark padwan robe the model i used for the retexturing for my custom robe.. and i figure if i fix this the other problem with the stats not being on the robe will also resolve itself i know im getting repititve with the questions sorry to everyone that puts up with me >.<
Achilles
If you saved your texture with the same file name as the one used by the dark padawan robe, then it will simply overwrite the existing texture with yours. If you want to make a unique robe, you will need to open up a robe .uti file, change texture variable to something not already used by the game and save with a unique Tag, TemplateResRef, and file name (ex: a_robe099, etc). Problem is that the random loot generator won't spawn anything over 18, so you'll either have to: 1) replace an existing robe with yours 2) statically place your robe somewhere in the game (probably via a script) or 3) use cheat codes or KSE to add your item to your inventory I hope that helps. RedHawke
yea white an its kinda a pain That is simply a missing invantory icon... For this, with KT Navigate to ERFs-->swpc_tex_gui.erf-->I-->ia_jedirobe_001.tpc through ia_jedirobe_010.tpc and extract one of them just like you did with your robe skin to a tga, edit it to match your new texture for the robe then save it with the same ending number part to whatever texture variation you used to override. Example: If you used PMBI70.tga for your texture you would then name the icon ia_jedirobe_070.tga. A fully functioning custom skinned robe or armor needs the following files... Male Texture (PMBIXX.tga) Female Texture (PFBIXX.tga) Invantory Icon Texture (ia_JediRobe_0xx.tga) Item UTI File (blablaXX.uti)
Achilles
If you want to get really fancy-schmancy with your icons, there's a (very brief) how-to included in the tutorial that comes with MDLOps that shows you how to make them from scratch. You'll need to have gmax or 3dsmax in order for it to work. This is recommended for people that are way too anal retentive (like me )
Darkkender
Might I recomend if you do have a Icon file to double check that it's dimensions are correct. If I recall correctly it needs to be 64x64 pixels in dimension exactly. If not 64x64 then 32x32 or 128x128. I'm positive that the icon should not be 128x128 as that is a portrait icons size. But I listed 128x128 as a just incase. If your icon files dimensions are not exactly right you will end up with white icon spots.
