Goodbye savings.

Don't you just hate it when things are going ok but then life turns around and kicks you in the balls?

I haven't bought anything substantial for a long time in saving up my money. Things were going peachy until today...

I dropped my digital camera. The faceplate got dented and deformed, and popped out, the viewfinder got misshapen, the lens got offset a bit, and the flash glass got chipped. It still takes pictures but i'll probably be buying myself a new digital camera anyways.

So all that money I worked to save will now probably have to be spent on something that could've been avoided.

[EDIT] Actually, I think I decided to keep the camera. The camera is in better shape than I thought it was. It just looked like the lens and stuff was offset because the faceplate was deformed. I bent the faceplate back into shape a bit but it's still not resting on the camera very well. I guess i'll just have to live with a bent faceplate as long as the camera still works...

I dunno, I just needed to vent cause i'm having a hard time right now with school and everything and I have no one to talk to right now. Sorry if this thread seems a bit pointless.

Stuff like that is usually covered in insurance BUT you will usually have an excess that you will have to pay regardless, and to make a claim on a camera will make the excess higher for the next claim..

Avoid using insurance for that, if it works, it works, if not, scream loudly!!
