IG-64
Don't you just hate it when things are going ok but then life turns around and kicks you in the balls? I haven't bought anything substantial for a long time in saving up my money. Things were going peachy until today... I dropped my digital camera. The faceplate got dented and deformed, and popped out, the viewfinder got misshapen, the lens got offset a bit, and the flash glass got chipped. It still takes pictures but i'll probably be buying myself a new digital camera anyways. So all that money I worked to save will now probably have to be spent on something that could've been avoided. [EDIT] Actually, I think I decided to keep the camera. The camera is in better shape than I thought it was. It just looked like the lens and stuff was offset because the faceplate was deformed. I bent the faceplate back into shape a bit but it's still not resting on the camera very well. I guess i'll just have to live with a bent faceplate as long as the camera still works... I dunno, I just needed to vent cause i'm having a hard time right now with school and everything and I have no one to talk to right now. Sorry if this thread seems a bit pointless. toms
Don't suppose its covered by home contents insurance? Sometimes out and about stuff is covered, depends on the policy. I just found out i'm gonna have to move house again! More hassle... Grrr...
BCanr2d2
Stuff like that is usually covered in insurance BUT you will usually have an excess that you will have to pay regardless, and to make a claim on a camera will make the excess higher for the next claim.. Avoid using insurance for that, if it works, it works, if not, scream loudly!!
