BobbinT Posted April 3, 2006 Posted April 3, 2006 Cruller doesn't have Psitainium on his back. Doesn't this mean he won't be a Psychonaut? Also the caption image is janitor Cruller. (ya might need to make it brighter)
Thrik Posted April 3, 2006 Posted April 3, 2006 Doesn't he start to lose it again around that point? I could have sworn that he starts to degrade, and says something a bit odd. I can't remember what though since it has been a while.
Smon Posted April 3, 2006 Posted April 3, 2006 No, that happens at camp, this is before Oleander turns into a tank. Good eye there!
Razclock Posted April 4, 2006 Posted April 4, 2006 Yeah he says "Hey what are all you folks doin' in my kitchen?" or something
BobbinT Posted April 4, 2006 Author Posted April 4, 2006 Razclock said: Yeah he says "Hey what are all you folks doin' in my kitchen?" or something When? I watched it again and he never said anything about a kitchen.
Razclock Posted April 4, 2006 Posted April 4, 2006 It's during the ending cutscene; Sasha asks if Ford can teleport them all and then Ford says something like that
BobbinT Posted April 4, 2006 Author Posted April 4, 2006 Oh, well I haven't completed the game. Bloody flaming nets.
Razclock Posted April 5, 2006 Posted April 5, 2006 Goddamn it why do people find that soooooooooo hard?
Jintor Posted April 5, 2006 Posted April 5, 2006 It's easy after you've gone through it once. But i spent about 3 hours on it the first time through.
BobbinT Posted April 6, 2006 Author Posted April 6, 2006 Razclock said: It's during the ending cutscene; Sasha asks if Ford can teleport them all and then Ford says something like that I finished it. But did you notice how the Psitanium mysteriously came back onto his back?
lejabberwock Posted April 7, 2006 Posted April 7, 2006 probably the animators just made 2 models of cruller, one with the rock and one without, and in the animating process they probably just forgot to switch it for some of the scenes
Smon Posted April 7, 2006 Posted April 7, 2006 No, they made two, problem is Psitanium Cruller is rendered in a cutscene seperate from the game itself.
BobbinT Posted April 7, 2006 Author Posted April 7, 2006 So? These are all based from cutscenes. Unless I don't completely understand you reply. On the other hand. Have you noticed if you are standing near ranger Cruller etc. you can hear the Cruller in the main lodge saying stuff. (...dream fluffs. Ya hear me? Dream fluffs) Or did they actually secretly clone him?
Smon Posted April 7, 2006 Posted April 7, 2006 No, see there are two renders of Cruller, with and without psitanium, the disc didn't have enough room for Cruller with psitanium, so (much like the jet and Psychonaut Raz) they rendered him seperately, recorded it, and just put the video file in the game.
needlewarbler Posted April 8, 2006 Posted April 8, 2006 Do you mean the intercom system still going off near Ranger Cruller? Because that irritates me as well. Even though he can teleport he actually seems to be everywhere at once, unless Ford has a recording of his voice somewhere, or is teleporting between his personalities so fast you can't see him.
BobbinT Posted April 8, 2006 Author Posted April 8, 2006 @Smon: Oh, now I get you. @needlewarble: Yeah, that's what I meant.

If you check, you will notice that the Intercom system is controlled by the mind, so Cruller is possibly using his mental powers from one of his other personalities inside his mind to control the intercom.

Then what is the point of Oleander's radio?
Razclock Posted April 12, 2006 Posted April 12, 2006 He's transmitting his thoughts through it and over the intercom system. That's how we know the intercom sysytem is controlled by the mind, even if it is being un-willingly controlled
