Pavlos
Change the extension of the files from .wav to .mp3 that should solve the problem .
Det. Bart Lasiter
They're compressed WAV files, you'll need Miles Sound Tools (I think that's what they're called) to listen to them and/or save them as something else. Changing the extension won't change the encoding though.

Det. Bart Lasiter
http://lucasforums.com/showthread.php?t=143421 There are different WAV types for different folders. The ones in StreamVoice don't seem to work with WMP, Real Player, or QuickTime.

Det. Bart Lasiter
Audacity detects the file type when it opens the file, so it opens it as a WAV. Try opening \StreamVoice\104\104atton\104104atton009 in Audacity or a media player. Audacity and WMP won't play it, RealPlayer makes a noise, and QuickTime generates an error. Pavlos
Indeed but he is talking about editing the files and simply changing the extension of that file to *.mp3 allows Audacity to play it. I'm sorry if I'm being misleading here. You can see this here.
Miltiades
Yes, changing its extension to .mp3 works (I use Creative Mediasource).

I'm sorry if I'm being misleading here. You can see this here. You learn something new everyday The only problem I had was when I exported the file and recompressed it. Originally it was 39 kb, uncompressed it was 861 kb and recompressed it's 216 kb. I thought this was due to a higher bit rate or something so I changed it to 11 khz, but to no avail. ***Edit*** The lowest I was able to get was 140 kb.
