mjpb3
Hi all. I am trying to do a little plastic surgery on Atton, mainly making his head coloring match more to kristykistic's new male underware model, but no matter what I do to his face, he always has a grayish tint about him. He's positively ghostly, in fact. And, no I am not referring to his DS transitions. I mean his normal appearance. He's grayish. Anyway, I seem to recall chainz.2da saying somewhere that Kreia's model in his new Kreia robes: http://www.lucasforums.com/showthread.php?t=162248 had a similar problem except with green hues. (?) So question... if Atton, in fact does have lighting issues, how can I change them? I'd like him to at least look like he has live coloring instead of looking like a corpse. Anyone??? Det. Bart Lasiter
You could try compensating for the lighting by adding too much color to his face.
mjpb3
LOL! I tried. He looked like a tanned corpse
Det. Bart Lasiter
LOL! I tried. He looked like a tanned corpse Yeah, I kind of thought that would happen. If it's an issue with lighting, your best bet may be editing Atton's TXI file, especially given the limited amount of model editing we can do. Achilles
I just pulled his head model into max and there isn't any freakiness with the diffuse color.

Okay, so I guess I am just not getting his tone color right. Ok, thanks! That's good, at least I know where to go from here
Kha
I think it has something to do with Kotor 2 illumination, it appears to have only strong white lights while in Kotor 1 there are many colored lights to set the mood. The body model that I've made for kotor 1, and which looks good in it, lose all the details on Kotor 2, it looks paler, washed....

Just as soon as I match Atton's head color to the body model, then walk into a new area, the color of his head changes and no longer matches the body model until I hit the light just right again. Grrr, this is so frustrating! Although I am not a huge fan of Atton's, I still don't want him looking like a ghostly corpse stalking around in K2. And the grayishness of him... ghastly!
