Which is better: Photoshop or 3dsMax?

I'll look into the DL for you, others have had problems to, it's wierd that it's always worked perfectly for me though.

I know they are 2 different apps! If you read all my posts in this thread, you would see that in my second or third post that it donned on me that I jumbled a 2-part question into 1 - thus the confusion. I addressed that screw-up. And actually, if you read the post directly above the one you made you'd see that I had gathered all the info I was looking for and requested the modERATORs to close this thread - as my question(s) were already answered.

 

Thanks for your input anyway- although if I were still actually looking for some info on the subject(s) what, you posted wouldn't be of much help as you did not explain what you were trying to say, and I just can't make sense of it past "there (I imagine you meant to type they're ) 2 completely different apps..." - this portion, "if you want to progress into digital art/cgi or whatever you want to call if you want to a 3d and 2d app." is like a run-on sentence that makes very little sense- I appreciate you adding to this closed thread, but it would be nice in the future if your sentences/replies made a little more sense -
