Darth Essence Posted April 26, 2006 Share Posted April 26, 2006 so .. the thing is .. i have a model which consists of several parts .. lets just say a sword with grip, crossguard and blade .. theyre all editable meshes .. when theyre seperate i can unwrap them and everything is OK ... but when i group them ... using group ... puff .. nothing .. neither can i convert it to other editable nor can i unwrap it ... so .. can anyone help me .. ? .. Psyk0Sith Posted April 26, 2006 Share Posted April 26, 2006 Dont use grouping (NEVER!), its useless, what you need is the attach tool: Select one of the meshes, go in sub object mode scroll down 'til you find attach, click and select the mesh you wanna attach.
