Fan48
Is it possible to change the "advertisements" on the outside of the cantina; ex. cantina on Citadel Station. If so, how is this accomplished?

You are about a year too late for this mod idea. http://www.pcgamemods.com/mod/12642.html http://www.pcgamemods.com/mod/13164.html (I prefer not to share this secret. )
The_Maker
Well, it ain't too hard to download your mod, look at the names of the files, extract them with kotor tool, and replace them with your own
The Source
Well, it ain't too hard to download your mod, look at the names of the files, extract them with kotor tool, and replace them with your own That was the whole idea of the post. Hehehe... Actually, it is harder than you think. Some of the pics had to be edited in such a way to prevent pixle and clearity loss. The reason why I am slow on releasing the fourth installment is because it takes a lot of work to create one set. If I didn't have experience in Photoshop, Webdesign, or production work, I think it would have taken me longer time. In some cases, I had to edit some of the pics with a paintbrush or pen tool, so I can get some of the detail back. It is real easy to mess things up on the advertisements. It is not as easy as you may think. Unlike the other textures you find ingame, these textures get stretched in illogical ways. If you are not careful, you can endup with muddy images. Editing the advertisements is very tedious, so I did it on my leasure time.
Darkkender
Careful Mac I might reveal the secret in advanced modder training classes. While you may have been the first that doesn't prevent others from wanting to try there hand at it.
RedHawke
You are about a year too late for this mod idea. (I prefer not to share this secret. ) Wow! This comes off quite badly IMHO, even with the smiley. We prefer to help people out around here Mac, not make this place out as some sort of elite secret society and we only let the super cool l33t people join or get help. You did post links to your mods but I strongly feel you said it all wrong, instead of "You are about a year too late for this mod idea." how about saying something like "Sure you can, I did it. Try looking at my mods here." this comes off as far more helpful and encouraging than what you wrote. The second part about not sharing the "secret" is just wrong. It also goes against the very purpose of this forum. You should help em' out instead of saying that, who knows what creative stuff a new modder will come up with. We do not want to become some sort of closed and elitist modding group, hording our modding secrets like some sort of forum hermits. Fan48 wants to do something he comes in here and asks about it, the whole purpose for this forum, and he gets told by someone who has done a mod like this 'I prefer not to share this secret.'? Not the best impression IMHO. Unfortunately, that is the way I took your first post Mac... sorry. *Gets off of soapbox*
The Source
Oh, just sue me. I was kidding around. I placed the links there, so he can pull them apart to see what others did. You learn from example. He can use them as a template, and then create his own concepts as such. Maybe I shoud have written 'Just Kidding' in the post, for that I was just foolish. :nut::nut::nut::nut: Edit:: Added... I sent him a PM with some instructions, and told him that he should feel free to examine the ads that I created. I gave him a few tips as well. ABCoLD
Well, if it makes ya feel better MacLeod, I got the joke. Anyone who can't pull a mod apart to find just filenames isn't going to be asking for filenames.
