Jem
Helix, you'll become mentally affected, twisted and useless by your lack of neurones needed to support the immense craziness (I'm thinking of Zoomie and his mushrooms right now... )that reigns in these forum before becoming a Jedi Master... Geez I just finished my philosophy essay (1 666 words) for tomorow, it took me about 8 hours. I had a bit more than a month to do it but I choose the day before the deadline to get started... [This message has been edited by Jem (edited October 14, 2001).]

Guest Zoom Rabbit
Wally the space dolphin directs an otherwise implacable nostril to the infidel in question, not deigning to betray his own inner amusement and twisted anticipation of the public self-embarrassment that this yardling is likely to produce, and outwardly responds to the introduction of this new element on the chessboard of forum politics by putting an intricate homing target on the respective piece and having it beamed altogether offworld by his private starship in orbit, to be rematerialized into frozen astonishment in the vacuum of space for the entertainment of future tourists on low-orbital champagne cruises. 'Look--there's the Newbie! Slow down...let us get a good look. Hey, you can still see the expression on his face.' Note: Zoomie does not use magic mushrooms; they aren't necessary if you're already crazy... ------------------ 'What's up is clearly defined as the opposite of what is down, in this case being the strongest source of local gravity...failing that, in space, what's up is opposite the direction of accelerative G-force--or, coincidentally, the same direction I happen to be targeting with these laser cannon. Guest Zoom Rabbit
How to become a Jedi master: 1. Accept things as they really are. 2. Find the meaning in life's lessons. 3. Appreciate the beauty in life. 4. Think about things. 5. Learn how to not deceive yourself. 6. Love others. 7. Be courageous. 8. Put yourself in the place of others. 9. See the bigger picture in all things. 10. Discover that everything is one. Good luck.
edlib
The little smiley gifs in the sigs have still got to go! I have a screaming-fast cable modem line, and it still takes forever for some of these pages to load completely! I can't imagine what it's like for someone with a connection slower than mine. Must be hell.

edlib
Which browser do you normally use then? I normally view this page in Netscape 4.78, and there are times where the page NEVER finishes loading because of the sigs. Happens all the time at RSN too. Besides, once you've seen someone's graphical sig once, why keep posting it on the same page? Before this current influx of RSNetters, nobody here used graphical sigs, only quotes and other written strangeness. I say lose the graphics, or use them a lot more sparingly. Who's with me? edlib
That's the IE I have, but I find the interface too clunky. But then I've never liked IE for Windows. On the other hand, I use IE5 for Mac at work and I love it! I wish the Windows version was like this. Then that's all I'd ever use!
