I sort of figured that anyone who liked Psychonauts, would also like Beyond Good and Evil as well. Supposedly, BG&E has a sequel in the works. But this is only the most recent such announcement. I've seen these rumors before. I can think of at least 3 times I've read somewhere that it was coming. Then soon afterwards having them denied. I've gotten my hopes up too many times, only to have them dashed against the walls. Oh well, I can't say that I'm too excited, at least not until there is real confirmation not just some rumor. But I guess somewhere inside me hope still exists. A little bit.

With proper advertising, (de ja vu,) a sequel to BG&E could make millions. And still be fun.

I hope it's true, but as you say there's been far too many rumours of this kind.

 

As for Beyond Good and Evil, yes, anybody who enjoyed Psychonauts (................) should seriously do their best to get it — ideally on a console. It is truly a charming and beautiful game, and I find it hard to comprehend how you could not enjoy it.

I really enjoyed Beyond Good and Evil. It was really cheap too, because it didnt sell to well. And very open-ended for a sequel to be made. Highly recommended.
