MachineCult Posted June 30, 2006 Posted June 30, 2006 If you have an Xbox 360 you can now play your Battlefront II on it. I don't think there will be any major changes to the game. Probably only a slight graphics upgrade. It also seems that this is only for North America so far. source Well, when I get a 360 I'll be happy to be able to play this. (List of Xbox to Xbox 360 compatible games, longer than I expected.)
Darth Andrew Posted June 30, 2006 Posted June 30, 2006 This is a longshot, but could this have been done to attract customers (who own only a 360) to buy a future Battlefront III? Think about it: the only console you own is a 360, you like Star Wars, you then buy Battlefront II, and when you see ads for Battlefront III, you think, "Golly! Battlefront II was swell! Aw shucks, I should buy III!" Meh, I'm probably wrong, but who knows....
Commander Obi-Wan Posted June 30, 2006 Posted June 30, 2006 Hmmm....an interesting desicion. But, as usual, for the money. Well, I would rather wait for another Star Wars game if I were an XBOX 360 owners rather than just but this version.
TSR Posted June 30, 2006 Posted June 30, 2006 yes, i got rather confused when i bought my xbox 360 and tried playing the normal version on it. it worked on off line mode, but when you go online, your character looks like he's breakdancing at breakneck speeds.but then again, if they're re-releasing it for the 360, how come they already had downloadable content? :s
Niner_777 Posted June 30, 2006 Posted June 30, 2006 Yeah, it was a stupid question. They were probably looking for the easiest way to get more money. Take a game that was already made, then port it to the 360.
