Yes, you read that right, another Psychonauts based MUSH! Okay, it's barely started yet, but who cares! I've come here to establish a fan basish thing for my MUSH before it's online. And, also, to see if I can attract Mashi or Cheez to help me with the coding... But anyway. So far, I've done barely anything, and I need someone to help me and guide me through the process of making a MUSH and coding it and... Stuff. I even went as far as making my own new board for it. So far, for anyone who's interested, I've done the following- 1. Downloaded everything. 2. Changed the variables in the game folder. 3. Gotten confused. In other words, I need help. I've got an idea of how to code it, but haven't gotten round to it yet. There's one more thing I'd like to talk about today. MUSH logs! Yes, that's right. I'm saving some of the more interesting MUSH logs and putting them up here. So far we have four different logs, two different scenarios, and two POVs. Here's a list- 1. Attempted suicide- Maddy's POV. 2. Attempted suicide- Sasha's POV. 3. Utter anger and a broken arm- Maddy's POV. 4. Utter anger and a broken arm- Sasha's POV. So, that's all I have for now. Construction will immediately begin on the Thorney Towers Mental Asylum and then the game will be opened. Mashi An'krekku Posted July 9, 2006 Share Posted July 9, 2006 1. Building a MUSH sounds like it requires a ton of know-how, such as how to set up your router so that people can access it. Plus, you need a dedicated server. I wouldn't reccomend building it on your personal computer. Doing that took a toll on Cheez's Windows box. 2. As for the MUSH bits, try and find a place to upload it to so we can click a link instead of going over several thousand lines just to read comments below that. Haha, I...realize I'm not Cheez.
